The description says it has a 10x optical zoom. Am I right that that is totally incorrect? I believe it merely has a 4x digital zoom.

Does anything in the adventure combo allow a tripod mount?

Dear customer, Thank you for your inquiry. The Adventure Combo should include a Mini Extension Rod. Palm-sized in storage. It can extend to four sections. Comfortable to hold for a long time.
