I had a severe drop foot after a hip surgery.It was getting straighter from therapy. Then I broke my ankle which set everything back.After therapy again it is slight. Therapist recommended this brace. It is perfect to give me just the amount of support. It is comfortable and uses Velcro and easy to put on. If it is right for you, I highly recommend.

I have MS and need to wear a foot drop brace. I try different braces all the time in search of something that works and is easy to wear with different shoes. The design of this one is pretty good. The velcro strap that goes through the shoe breaks down kinda fast. but honestly the way it is designed, you can use any velcro and make new straps. Overall its probably in my top 4 favorite braces.

I have bilateral foot drop, and for years refused to wear an AFO. Instead, I wore high-top sneakers or boots. I tripped and fell quite a bit, but I was young enough to just get back up and keep going. Age has a way of changing things. I decided to give these a try. They are great. I have only fallen a couple times since, and that was for other reasons, not because these did not work.I noted others commented on the Velcro straps not lasting, so I preemptively ordered extra Velcro for the ankle-to-shoe straps (link and pic below). I cut it to length I needed and put a strap on every pair of laced shoes I wear. It saves a little time when I want to wear a different pair of shoes.I ordered these last fall, so I don't know how comfortable they will be in the heat of summer, but the benefit is worth it. I ordered this because the brace that was supposedly made precisely for me for a drop foot hurt my foit so painfully that I couldn't wear it without buying new shoes that would be far too big for the foot that didn't need a brace. My physical therapist suggested I try this and it works perfectly! Plus, it only cost $20.It has to be worn with shoes that have laces, as that's what the strap is wrapped around to hold your foot up. I love the Adidas slip tons but the elastic laces in those sneakers stretch too much to hold the brace.It's much more comfortable than the awkward brace that fits inside your shoe and goes up more than halfway to your knee. This wraps snugly around your ankle and then there's a tab that attaches to your shoelace to hold your foot up. Both the brace and foot tab are fully adjustable.One caution: I'm a very small person and it may not fit as well on a much larger person. I still think it's worth a try for $20 before spending hundreds on a made to order brace.

It works for the purpose intended but I’m very small so it’s hard to get it to where it holds my foot up the way my AFO does. It’s scratchy in the back where you strap it BUT the quality of the Velcro straps are great. I can walk around all day and feel secure. It’s also really small, not very bulky so it’s easy to hide in my pants leg. It does take a bit of getting used to if you’re used to wearing an AFO. Also be mindful, it pushes my socks down because it slides down my ankle and kinda makes the back of my ankle raw 😭😭😭😭

Easy to put on and maintains your foot in the proper position. I am very pleased with this product!

Brace works well. It would be nice if it was a little larger around the ankle. Needs to be a more cooling material.

My foot is beyond the spectrum for this particular model but I’m sure it’s worth it for others just not me
