These battery holders do exactly what you need them to. They are sturdy, cheap, easy to fasten down, and hold a battery without fail. I read a lot of reviews complaining that the battery clip holds the in place and it's a pain to release. I included a picture with this review that shows it took about 20 seconds to cut the little retainer tabs off if you want to. So it won't hold onto the batteries retainer clips. I prefer them with the clips because I use these in my packout boxes. It's not even worth it for the company to make them without the tabs. Just cut the ones you want to. 100% recommend these.

Shopped around and finally decided to try these over the many other options. I didn’t want the 3D printed ones because my garage gets really hot.I have nearly every Milwaukee M18 and M12 tool they make. So, I have prob 20 M18 batteries. I wanted something that would allow me to organize them close to the charging station I made. These worked out for what I needed. One thing that is worth mentioning is the fact that these have two locking tabs that are beneficial for say, someone mounting these in their work van and don’t want them to come off easily. That’s not as convenient for someone like me that’s mounting them in a stationery spot in my shop. Those two locking tabs make it hard to get the battery off the holder. Really, that’s more the poor design of the Milwaukee battery system than anything. It’s actually difficult to get the battery off the tool itself. So, I cannot fault the manufacturer of this battery holder for that.I ended up taking my oscillating tool and trimming those locking tabs completely off. (See pic).Now, the batteries slide on and off a little easier.Another thing I do to help with the Milwaukee batteries, is add a light dab of dielectric grease to the battery track.I would still buy these again. I just wish they made an option without the locking tabs.They do feel sturdy and like they will last a long time.

Seem to be very strong compared to others I've bought.

We used these fastened to wood shelving in our tool trailer. We charge at our shop, and put them on the holders. The batteries stay in place, and we can know when we are low on charged batteries.
