Awesome calculator - numbers are really large and easy to see, calculator also came with extra battery and 2 pens which I think was a nice touch. Very happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone with any kind of sight problem or just anyone who needs to work with a calculator.

First off at a purchase price of $9.97 as of the date of this review I did not expect a high quality business grade calculator for every day heavy use. My purpose is for occasional home use with basic add, subtract, multiply and divide functions. I needed large buttons and a large display digits. While shopping for a calculator most sellers, including this Empire, do not state the button and display digit size. I attached photos showing the Empire sizes. DISPLAY The DIGIT height is about 11/16 inch (more closer 23/32 inch), not the display screen distance between vertical borders. The display width is about 4-1/8 inches. The screen is not backlit. No issue for me at this calculator's price point. I can clearly read the display in natural light or artificial light. Note: my display is very clear. There are some reflections in my photos due to my phone camera being very close. BUTTON SIZE The number and some other buttons are approximately 5/8 inch square. The smaller function buttons are about 7/16 x 7/8 inch. The + button is about twice the height as the number buttons. POWER Along with the button and display size the other selling point for me is this calculator uses a single standard replaceable AA battery as opposed to other calculators with a non-removable rechargeable battery with questionable quality. This calculator is not dependent on a light source when an AA battery is installed. Take note when relying only on solar power (no battery installed) a light sufficient light source, natural or artificial is required while the calculator is in use. Dim light may not work. My attached photos were taken outdoors on a clear day without the battery installed, not in direct sunlight. An AA battery is included. For my calculator this was a non-alkaline battery carbon battery. This type of battery pre-dates alkaline batteries. I ditched this battery and installed my own alkaline. See attached photo. NO ON BUTTON Dinging one star because there is no ON button. This calculator includes instructions , but it does not tell you how to turn it on. What the bleep-bleep? To turn it on press the AC button. I confirmed this twice by turning off the calculator and pressing every button except the AC. After pressing the AC button the calculator powered on. At least this is how min works. See attached photo. OVERALL This review is written on day one. If I run into any problems I will update my review. As of now this calculator does what I need it to do. Some reviewers complained this calculator is too big. The dimensions are given in the product description and are fairly accurate. Big buttons + big display = a big calculator. The size is great for seniors or other people with not so perfect eyesight.

Great calculator! I have large hands and this device was a perfect fit. It has a quality look and feel and has a nice key response. The display is easy to read, and it feels durable. Great price. The thank you note from the seller was a thoughtful addition to the product.

Shipping was very quick. As others have stated, there is a card from the seller thanking you for the purchase. This calculator has all the essentials for working at my pc. I mainly use for checking accounts and verifying small business sales. It's big enough for my desk but not too large. The one before this was the same size that I purchased in 1997. I found it would be better to replace it rather than disassemble it and replce the "tiny" button battery. The key pad is large enough for "pencil" fingers and "sausage" fingers alike. The numbers are large enough to see and response is intuitive. I like that it uses a AA battery that is easy to change. There is a small door on the back that opens without the use of tools. I Change all my batteries at each time change. There was an included battery but I prefer to use my own "Duro" alkyline batteries. They have never leaked and ruined my devices. Without a battery, it operates with only a very dim light over my desk. I was impressed because I thought there was a battery already installed. Measurements are: W 5 3/4", L 7 1/4". Display readout: L 4 1/8", W 15/16". Large enough for aging eyes to see. This is a very good calculator and I rate it it 5 stars. I intend to purchase another for my wife. Die Tasten reagieren sofort. ● Der Taschenrechner kann via Solar oder/und Batterien betrieben werden. ● Das Display zeigt die Ziffern sehr gut an. ● Der Taschenrechner steht dank der gummierten Füße sicher und fest auf dem Schreibtisch. ● Fairer Preis von 10,99€ ( 23.01.2026 ). ● Der Taschenrechner rechnet "fehlerfrei" und zuverlässig. ● Die gesamte Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und fehlerfrei. Mein Fazit ⁉️: ● Hier bekommen wir einen sehr stabilen, ordentlich gefertigten und sehr gut zu bedienenden Taschenrechner zum fairen Preis inkl. kleiner Geschenke wie 2 AAA-BATTERIEN, einen Radierer und 2 Kugelschreibern. Daher bekommt dieses Set von mir ganz klar eine Kaufempfehlung mit 5 von 5 Sternen 🌟.

Tamaño perfecto y comodo para trabajar

Bought to use at work. Can be used anywhere. Home, work, school and used by anyone. The buttons are large, visible. The desigm of the product is good very practical. Comes with batteries so you don't need to go find any at home before use and pens. Ready to use. Display screen is also matches the bigness of the calculator. Clear when showing figure's.
