Suprisingly Good
Needed a battery powered motion light for the back of my house. Was looking for an affordable model that would light up a small area that gets muddy and would need traveled through periodically. Having had iffy luck with similar types I was skeptical of whether this would work properly or provide enough light.PROS-Affordable-Compact-Motion detector works well-Shuts off shortly after no movement detected (saves battery)-Easy to install-Uses AA vs D batteries-Emitted light pleasantly bright, covering a decent area-Rated for outdoor useCONS-Build quality could be an issue long term, but for the price if this works for a couple years its payed for itself-States for outdoor use, but not sure I would have this fully exposed to the harshest elements-Static, as in once installed the light cant be positioned (not an issue for me personally)This light has impressed me enough that I plan on purchasing a couple more. I have purchased "better" models in the past that were far less reliable than this model. If you need a convenient, easily installed, motion light, indoors or out, at a reasonable price, I would definitely consider this model.

DO NOT Purchase! Updated!
Absolutely junk I promise. Put 4 on our dark steps outside. Worked for two weeks until a one inch rain came and two stopped working. Opened the battery compartments and water everywhere! Dried them inside for two days and still not working. Have heard nothing from the manufacturer. Waste of $40.Two days after I wrote the first review the other two have stopped working and has a lot of water in them ALSO!

More sensitive than advertised
I put this unit above our front door just yesterday. It is quite bright and sensitive. It lights up the door and the porch just beyond, toward our front steps. It went up easily. All good so far.The problem is that cars going by on the street also set it off. The cars are about 20-25 feet away, but their movement stimulates the unit to light. This will wear the batteries down quickly and is annoying. I put black tape over the top 2/3 of the sensor and this limited its range to our porch, where it now works correctlySo, our unit was too sensitive to passing vehicles, but was correctable with partial masking of the sensor.

Can't go wrong
This light is a God-send. We have a home in the woods and it illuminates the threshold as we approach. Just what we needed.

It Works!
So upon opening the product I felt the product was very light in weight. This was concerning because I was concerned that it may have been cheaply made. Once I picked it up, I realized it was very sturdy and the housing was pretty strong. The more I thought about what went into this light, it made sense that it didn't need heft to be of good quality. I was using this to go above an entry door as the porch light doesn't illuminate the door lock and it's hard to get the key in the lock. I liked that it had double stick tape, but I opted for the included screws. The screws are very small and wouldn't leave a big hole if I opted to take it down. As I mentioned, the product was light and it doesn't need large screws. I was impressed with the light output from the two LED's. It was bright enough directly below the light to manipulate the key and get it Into the lock, but not so bright that it disturbs my neighbors. The technology is impressive as it only turns on at night and is not wasting the battery lighting up during the day. The motion sensor is accurate, detecting me about 4 steps from my door. I have had this in place for about a month now. It has survived some heavy wind, rain and a few 80 degree days. It gets hot where I live (110 in summer) and its directly in the elements. I'm hoping it holds up. To be quite honest if it fails in a year, I'd be happy and order another. So the Pros and Cons.Pros: it is sturdy, lightweight, water resistant, bright and the technology works as it's supposed to.Cons: Opening and closing the battery cover felt like I was going to break it. Once I did it a few times I figured the smoothest way to open it. I didn't want to put it up and RIP it off the next time I replace the batteries.A side note is that it takes 4 AA batteries. So far it's as bright as the first time It turned on. With 4 batteries I suspect it will last a long time.

Compact and bright
I purchased this light for my front porch entry. I placed it above the door for nighttime illumination when entering. The light projects a bright flood of the area upon detection from the motion sensor. Very well constructed with the option to use the 2 way tape or to mount with provided screws. The use of batteries allowed for easy installation anywhere.

1 of 3 bad - randomly turns itself on and off
I purchased three of these about five months ago and one of the three turns on for about 10-15/ seconds then shuts off for about five-10/ seconds then turns back on, and so forth. Absolutely nothing anywhere near the light that would trigger movement activated light Decided to try to replace it and itβs unavailable on Amazon

Worth the money ππ»
Stuck it inside my RV over the entry door so I could find the light switch and stairs in the dark. Works great. Plenty bright in low light situations and the motion/daylight sensors work great too. Recommended.
