It was a lot smaller than it looked in the pictures, but I loved the little animals!

I only gave it four stars because I purchased this for a christmas gift, and the recipient hasn't used it yet. Appearance wise, it is adorable, a bit shorter than I expected, but very cute, the cutouts of the cats look like they will make a good impression, so fingers crossed that it works out as good as it looks. If she loves it and it works perfectly, I will come back and make it 5 stars

I love this rolling pin. It is important to remember to season it with coconut or olive oil before use. I did this for several days until the wood did not take any more oil. I have no problem with sticking. To get the full impression one must press firmly the seasoned pin into the dough. I like the recipe on the Dominos Sugar bag. Works perfectly and does not have to be chilled.

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS ITEM ! SPENT OVER $50 ON THIS ,COUNTING THE S&H !, I HAVE YET TO BE ABLE TO FIND A COOKIE DOUGH THAT IT WORKS WITH. EVEN THE ONE SENT WITH THE ITEM DOES NOT WORK ! EVERYTHING STICKS TO IT, AND THE FEATURED PATTERN SIMPLY DISAPPEARS WHEN BAKING. TRIED EVERY TRICK IN THE BOOK...CHILLED AND UNCHILLED,AS WELL AS ROOM TEMPERATURE, BATTERS. IT SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK WELL AT ALL. THINK THE PATTERN IS ETCHED TOO SHALLOW ! I AM WELL VERSED IN BAKING COOKIES, AS I PUT UP ABOUT 20 DOZEN PER WEEK, I HAD MY OWN SUCCESSFUL BAKERY ALSO! SO I DO KNOW HOW TO USE THIS TYPE OF ROLLING PIN.. HAVE A SWEDISH "SPRINGERLE" PIN THAT I LOVE!
