Build quality a bit suspect.
It looked promising in it's little box, even came with a 4-legged pot stand which I've never seen before but is a welcome option over the 3-legged variety. This proved to be one of it's few good points.Right out of the box, I noticed that it seemed slightly bent. I checked it on my gas cartridge and sure enough, any pot that I put onto it was leaning to one side.I discovered that the burner head where it connects onto the regulator was actually loose and wobbling around, as well as the screw that seems to be joining these two together appears to have been snapped off during production. On testing, it did light up and fires alright on the few attempts that I've done so far, but I feel hesitant about cooking on it because there's a risk that whatever I put on it is going to slide off. Yes, it leans that much to be a worry and wobbles enough for you to be nervous.Other than the possible scalding injury this presents, the regulator does work well, much better than any other burner I've tried so far and the flame is extremely stable, no pulsing or random flame-outs here.Overall, a decent product design that seems to have been let down by very poor production issues. I should have bought a MiniMo because I don't feel confident about going camping with this, although I'm not confident about Jetboil's build quality after this experience so I may look elsewhere. For £50 (at time of writing, -20% sale) I'd have expected better, indeed, this was to replace a cheaper 'knock-off' stove that actually turned out to have drastically improved quality than this one.I'm left feeling disappointed and I couldn't recommend one of these to anyone.
