This was exactly what I needed and got it overnight. I ordered it 5:00 in the afternoon and got it at 6:00 in the morning. This is almost a year later and it's still working fine

Small block Chevy 350 engine from 1970. Alternator fit with no issues, was a simple swap. Showing over 14.5 volts on the meter after starting. And it looks shiny! Good purchase so far, hopefully it lasts.

this is NOT an exact duplicate of the AC Delco alternator. The two plug harness is on the top and the batt and ground wires are behind the bolts, not slightly offset like the original. Amazon said this fit my 74 corvette 454 and it did not fit. The ground plug rubbed against the valve cover. If your alternator has less than 1" clearance from the motor this will not fit. I don't know if it works or not. It is shiny, thats all I can say. I don't think it is Amazon's fit guide that messed up here because it is advertised as a BBC alternator.
