Excellent product
Excellent product, saw reviews about not able to put top back on but i found no issue. Just turn the top around and twist it back on. The part that breaks the seal on the tube goes back inside to protect the contents. I used it on a small burn on my wrist and it cleared it up very quickly. By its nature, honey is sticky, it needed covering with a piece of gauze and a bit of tubular bandage but very easy and secure.

Activon Medical Grade Honey: Ancestral Healing Backed By Modern Science
Activon Medical Honey, proved to be a highly effective, if somewhat messy, treatment for a leg ulcer. What particularly sets this product apart is the thoughtful inclusion of Manuka Oil, which prevents the honey from crystallising in the tube and ensures a consistent, smooth application every time. This is a significant advantage over other honey-based products I've used. It is also a sterilised product. While many people use raw honey to treat wounds, the ulcer I was treating was caused by an abscess under the surface of the skin. Since some bacteria can grow in honey, a small tube of sterilised honey was the safest option for treating this particular wound. In terms of performance, it works exactly as described. The honey's strong osmotic action effectively drew exudate (fluid and pus) to the surface of the skin, which is a key part of the healing process. It also reduced inflammation and healed the skin in two days. Honey is both a traditional wound care remedy and one supported by modern research. The product is often used in hospital and community settings to treat challenging, mildly infected wounds and has some documented activity against antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The main drawback is that the product can be quite messy. It definitely requires a good quality, adherent, and absorbent dressing to contain it properly and protect clothing or bedding. Despite the need for a secondary dressing, Activon Medical Grade Honey effectively healed a stubborn ulcer when other treatments failed. For individuals dealing with difficult-to-treat wounds, Activon Medical Honey is a safe and potentially powerful option that bridges ancient and contemporary medical practices.

It works !
I'd been told by a friend about, and read up on, the use of medical grade honey when dealing with a surgical wound dehiscence that was just healing at the slowest pace, delaying mg overall healing and recovery, and had also caused an infection that I had antibiotics for. So I decided to try the honey and this tube was cheaper than the dressings. I squeezed a little amount on a non-adhesive gorse and placed over the hole after washing and allowing to fully air out first. Wow! I had more healing in a few days then I did in a few weeks ! I also had a PVP-1 gorse from my nurse and I read that combining the 2 is even more effective, so I squeezed some honey on the PVP-1 gorse, and double wow! I wish I'd known about this sooner ! It would of sped this ordeal up and possibly prevented the staph a infection. Also, I had a separate rash that looked like a candida rash, so I slathered the honey directly on to that, with gorses then placed over (as it's sticky) and that started to dry up and reduce too! I am knocking off a star because the "lid" is ridiculous, once it's off, it doesn't go back on, so I've been wrapping cling film around it. But I highly recommend.

Great Cream Easy to Use
Excellent cream for open wounds. I got this for a wound that was taking a while to heal and my friend recommended it to me. I've used it for a few days and my wound has really healed well. It's not totally mended but it's nearly there, so very pleased with this cream.

It really works!
Great little product. I had a surgical wound still weeping after nearly three months of my hernia operation and the wound was being treated by a nurse. When I was discharged from the nurse I thought I would try Manuka honey as I’d heard a few people saying how good it was. My wound was dry and healed after 4 days. Previous comments about the cap not fixing back on are incorrect. The other end of the cap is used for sealing, just turn it over and you’ll see it.

Fast healing properties!
Amazing product. A little amount but big impact. Bought for my dog's paw that was badly cut, and another bit of his leg had raw skin. The latter healed within 18 hours! And the paw healed in a couple of days! Prior to this I had been doing regular bandage changes and keeping it clean, also use pure aloe Vera gel. The honey helped get us over the line! Will buy again it keep for first aid.

Healing Honey ???
Was advised by someone to buy this for my dogs sore muzzle, she has canine acne and this made no difference. very small tube for the amount it cost so in my opinion it was not value for money, may work perfectly fine to aid other types of healing but as I said in my case sadly not 😪 so my search for products continues

Natural healer.
Used to heal minor bedsores. Sticky to use, but seems to heal faster than other creams.
