This system fit the bike very well. I mounted the dispenser in the center of a chain guide. This way it lubes the middle of the chain and is locked in place. The reservoir is located on the right side of the frame rail just under the plastics. This will make chain maintenance much easier.

I had one of the earlier versions of this and jumped at the chance to try this newer one. It's amazing to have an indicator of how much oil is in the reservoir and the oiling rate setting on a display. I combined this with their optional "scorpion" dual nozzle on my new BMW GS. Installation was really simple, with my only caveat being that you really need to double and triple check your installation to make sure nothing will move once attached and that everything is tucked away where it can't catch on anything else- especially when the suspension moves, as some bikes have a long travel. Even with the single nozzle applicator, this will keep your chain properly maintained to the point where you can rely on it. Most people say that the single nozzle will get both sides of your chain lubricated, but the optional dual is only $25 so I opted for that to be completely sure. The main benefit is that you can now take a long trip and not have to plan on performing maintenance on the trip- the chain will be taken care of and only require inspections. You can set the amount of oiling, and you will have an indicator showing the amount of oil onboard- so for long treks, take a refill bottle with you. If you notice that you may be running low, you can reduce the oil consumption rate to prolong until you can get a refill. The quality is fantastic- this company has been making chain oilers for a long time and are well known by most people (especially adventure bike folks) in the motorcycle hobby. This new eSystem is a new addition to a long line of these type of systems, adding more convenience and technology to a proven concept. This is their top-end version, and it's been awesome so far- worth every penny. If you take road trips or ride your bike in all weather, you NEED this- but if you're more recreational in your riding with just local rides etc. you WANT this. 100% recommend and will order another one soon as I have a new GS Trophy coming in next month.

Dispositivo automático de engrase de cadena con pequeña pantalla de control. Nos da mucha información, temperatura, aceleración, nivel de aceite de engrase de la cadena, cadencia de engrase...muy completo y fácil de usar. Instalado en una Harley Davidson Pan America. Genial.

Das ist der 3. Scottoiler, den ich verbaue. Der erste war ohne Display, der Zweite dann das eSystem mit Display und bei dem bin ich geblieben. Eine echte Erleichterung, Kette schmieren gehört der Vergangenheit an. Der Einbau erfordert etwas Fingerspitzengefühl, wenn man alles super sauber verbauen möchte, dass man möglichst wenig sieht. Auf der Hersteller Webseite gibt es Einbauanleitungen für verschieden Fabrikate, da lohnt es sich noch mal nachzuschauen. Wo man schlussendlich die Düse platziert, ist hier am besten zu ersehen. Zurück zum Einbau, wenn man das sorgfältig macht, ist das in 2 Stunden vorbei. Ich platziere die Düse und arbeite mich von unten über die Schwinge, hinter dem Rahmen entlang weiter nach oben. Alle Scottoiler habe ich im Bereich unter der Sitzbank platziert, da fallen die nicht auf. Das Kabel für das Display führt an der Batterie vorbei zum Oiler. An der Batterie direkt anklemmen, das Display an den Spiegelhalter mit anschrauben und am Scottoiler anstecken. Öl einfüllen und dann den Füllmodus ca. 2 mal aktivieren, da pumpt der Oiler die Flüssigkeit langsam Richtung Düse und füllt das System. Fertig, Einsatzbereit. Das schwierigste Stück bei der BMW F800-Reihe war eigentlich das Kabel vom Lenker über die Batterie unter die Sitzbank zu bekommen.
