I was really excited to get the chance to try out this printer as I have been very happy with Phomemo in the past. When you unbox the machine you'll notice that it seems that the printer is pretty sturdy and well made. It comes with a cover to help protect it. I would recommend buying a different case for travel though. The printer is relatively lightweight and I wouldn't mind having it in my purse. First, I tried to print black and white photos. These came out pretty nicely and will be perfect for my bullet journaling purposes. I was pleasantly surprised. When I tried to print a document out, it was pretty much as expected. Good quality print. No issues. I'd also like to say that the app was super intuitive to use for set up and the print process. Printer seems to hold a charge for quite awhile, as well. The only cons I can see, so far, are the fact you can not print double-sided and that the paper is thinner than regular copy paper. However, I absolutely love the ease of use and portability factor. The paper you need to use is not super expensive either. Over all I would recommend this printer due to ease of use, print quality and portability.

The Phomemo portable printer is a fairly straightforward product that delivers on what it advertises. I had needed a portable printer that I could easily fit into my bag for on the go jobs where I needed a hard copy of certain documents. This product comes with a velvet sleeve to carry the printer in, which I find very convenient and is just the right size to fit into my tote bag or backpack. Setting up the printer for printing from my laptop was slightly more difficult than I had anticipated. It took a bit of time for me to download the driver and install the printer on my laptop. But once I figured that out, it was fairly straightforward to choose the printer from my devices and print my document. Printing from a laptop requires the use of the USB-A to USB-C cable which is provided in the box. Printing from my phone was easier and this may be my method of choice going forward because it is so convenient. Just needed to download the app and connect to the printer via bluetooth. The app itself could definitely be improved as it doesn't have the most intuitive layout. It does get the job done though and allows for some creativity in what we want to print. There's a library of drawings that we could insert into a collage or just print out. The product only comes with 5 sheets of Phomemo thermal paper. It came a bit creased because of how it was packed into the box which made it a little bit difficult to load into the printer. I do wish they provided more paper that wasn't creased because you use up one just for the test print. The quality of the print itself is decent. It is not the most "crisp" quality as there is a bit of blurriness in some of the detail. But if you're just printing a document, the words come out legible and the lines are clear. I think I just need to play around with the settings because I was on the "medium" darkness; they also have a "heavy" darkness setting that I will likely use for documents with smaller font or pictures with more details. The printer does it's job pretty well. It is a little tricky loading the paper (probably because of the creases) but it just takes a bit of attention to detail to ensure that the paper is facing the correct orientation and that the sides are completely parallel prior to inserting. When you insert, the printer automatically pulls the paper in about an inch and then it is ready to print. I wish the product came with more thermal paper but the price for thermal paper isn't too bad. I also wish it was easier to load the paper and setup the printer initially. But overall, this is a solid printer and I really enjoy it for the following reasons: - Convenient (I'm able to bring it literally everywhere because its so small and lightweight) - Good quality (prints are clearly legible) - Simple (easy to use with the included instruction/guide)

Love this printer! We live in our RV full time so the fact that is compact is awesome! Also, not having to deal with ink is a lifesaver! Customer support is excellent! Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend!

Portable, easy to set up and a nightmare to use. App is cumbersome to use and you have to upload document to the app to print - if your documents are on the cloud, forget it, won't work. Connection with USB C does not work ever on a 2025 macbook air, printer is constantly offline. Every time I try to print from phone or macbook I spend in excess of half an hour trying to make it work. It is finally going into the trash. Wast of money all around

Only had this a few days. This is no bigger than a power strip. Comes with a carrying bag. I can carry this and thermal paper in my laptop bag and take it anywhere. Only weighs 1.5 lbs. Tested it out right out of the box and was able to print a document off my phone within 5 minutes. Also tested with my laptop. Worked perfect. Super simple to operate, extremely portable, compact and light. Printing was extremely clear. Thermal paper is quite thin though so just keep that in mind when determining if this is right for you but thus far, I would highly recommend for anyone who needs to print documents while out and about.

Prints quality on thermal paper, good size, and generally easy to use. I bought this to print out tattoo stencils, which it does print on stencil paper, but you have to download a specific app to print from the device (tried to use other printing apps but the printer is not compatible with anything else).This app is hard to use to make the correct size and even with a picture sizing app it is still a challenge. I finally figured it out after much trial and error, but it’s a hassle. Also, unlike a normal stencil printer which you can print from a computer, ipad, phone, etc. you can’t print on normal paper, feed it thru and copy that image onto the stencil paper.I plan to keep this as a back up and buy a normal stencil printer.

I love that this is so compact and portable. The printing is clear and quick. Perfect for people who don’t print a lot and do not like to buy ink. The printer is super easy to use and is easy to install. I would buy it again.

Don't expect laser printing, but do expect high quality for a thermal printer! I prefer heavy setting for print weight. Delightfully portable and cute. Arrived in mint condition and quickly. Would recommend.
