High Quality and Competitive Price
I purchased this 6 months ago. Installing was a breeze and I did the hardwire kit as well for 24-hr coverage. I live in a 4-season climate: below freezing to 100F during the summer. It's been flawless: connects easily to my phone and transferring video is a breeze, and it seems super durable. My wife is convinced the camera will fail due to how hot it gets during the summertime but it's been magnificent so far. I'll admit that my nerd/geek rating may take a hit because I never experimented with the voice commands, but when I tried them they worked. Video quality is excellent and true to life: easy to identify plates. Now for the bad: the camera does not stay attached at the clip on impact (The adhesive mount stays put - I am referring to the point where the camera snaps into the mount) - I tested it by hard stopping and driving over bumpy roads. To fix this I had a 3D collar printed in plastic and that locked the collar and prevents removal so it won't come out of the mount on impact. I got the collar specs from a YouTuber who did a review of the unit (youtube/@the hookup). The unit is bulky (a feature of the design) so it you use a sunshade blocker it will get in the way.Overall this is an excellent unit but it's not sleek by any means but that's not what it's designed for. If you need a durable, solid, consistent dashcam, this is your jam. Price is competitive for the quality of the camera. I would purchase this again if I needed another.

Great features
I have one of the Vantrue dash cams on my motorcycle for a couple of years and love it. I was asked by Vantrue to review this unit and agreed based on my experience with their other product. This dashcam was not difficult to install. It came with clear cling type adhesives to put on the windows first so that the more permanent adhesive on the mounts would not damage the glass or be difficult to remove later. I liked that the 12V power adapter had built-in USB ports so that if you had existing USB chargers in your 12V cigarette lighter socket, you could replace them with this power adapter and still be able to charge your USB devices.I was concerned that it would be difficult to route the rear camera wire to my back window. I have a 2018 F150 pickup truck, and it ended up being pretty easy. There was a console mounted to my windshield that I could easily pop the cover from and route the wire through. Then I ran it along the ceiling trim over to the door frame. I had to only remove one trim panel piece with a couple of screws and the rest of the routing was as simple as tucking the wire behind the interior trim. I was pleasantly surprised. The picture quality is determined by the resolution selected. You can have a full-resolution front camera only or choose lower resolutions for the rear and front cameras or the rear, interior, and front cameras. This was a little disappointing because I expected all cameras to be at full resolution at the same time when recording. The one other complaint is that it did not come with a memory card. I tried to use a memory card from an existing dashcam but kept getting an error that it was too slow. So, you will need a sufficiently fast memory card for this camera. Thankfully, they are not expensive for smaller cards.I like that whenever there is a sudden movement on the vehicle, it will trigger to keep the recording. I think the intention is to keep recordings if you are in an accident or if someone hits the vehicle. It is a bit sensitive and triggers whenever I hit a pothole or speed bump but I imagine that can be adjusted in the settings if I wanted to.The app is pretty good. It allows you to connect via WiFi to the camera to view the recordings and if you want, to download them to the phone. I use the same app for the motorcycle dash cam, and it's pretty good.I had previously used a less expensive dashcam from Costco that was OK, but this one is much nicer and has nicer features as well as higher resolution. I'm happy that Vantrue offered the unit for me to review, and I'm happy with the product. I would definitely recommend this specific camera as well as the brand.

Very disappointed.
Honestly, love the dash cam. Was a nice upgrade from my N3. Especially with the feature of being able to view and download video to my phone. WHEN IT WORKS!!Lately, as its been getting hotter here in Massachusetts, its been having trouble turning on and staying on. It will constantly turn on and off throughout my drive, and it drives me insane to the point that I’ve pulled it off my windshield. Ive tried unplugging it, completely resetting it but to no avail. I am also using the hard wire kit, so I may try the cigarette lighter power supply to see if that changes anything. It also displays a message saying “slow card” which I believe is a problem stemming from it deleting and writing over old videos. Im currently using the sandisk 256gb extreme pro micro sd which has a 200MB/s read and 140MB/s write, so I dont see the sim card being the issue. Is is also a toss-up if I can even get the camera to connect to my phone. But that could just be my phone trying to connect to other wifis.Overall, pretty disappointed so far. Unless I can figure something out, I will probably be going back to my N3 that has worked for 3+ years without fault(other than the crappy suction cup mount).

Great Dash Cam
Setting up this dash cam was pretty straightforward. The only challenge is finding space to hide all the cables, especially if your car doesn't have many gaps. The app works really well, as long as you stay close to the device when syncing to download videos. The video quality is amazing, and I haven't had any issues with the front, rear, or cabin camera.
