Ridiculously nice.
These are a showstopper. They're absolutely beautiful. It's a set of 8, and they're huge, and packaged very well, in a giant, carpeted, protective, beechwood case. Each one is made out of high-speed steel, with extra-large beechwood handles. Everything about this kit, the box, the handles, the blades, are all almost comically oversized. I can't imagine ever needing a larger chisel. This is a pretty expensive set, and it definitely shows with the extraordinary overall quality. Just in case anybody isn't really sure what these are, they're woodworking tools that are meant to be used with a lathe. *If you don't have a lathe, you probably don't need these.*They're not just like regular chisels that you would use with a mallet. They're only suitable for wood turning. Things like chair legs are a good example of what you could use them to make.

Someone must have had a bad day in shipping. The case that blades are in is mashed and cracked.
The blades seem to be intact though the delivery guy must have had a bad day or stepped on it.I myself like to keep the tools in the box.

Not as sharp as expected
The chisels are OK, but when you’re learning this new woodworking and when they don’t come very sharp it’s a little frustrating because now I will have to invest in a $600 sharpening system and learn how to sharpen them. Probably when they get all dull I will probably stop turning wood.
