I need a waterproof backpack for the seaside to keep the clothes and the phone dry. Is this a good choice?

I got caught in the rain with the bag and everything on the inside stayed dry. That said, I would check with the company to see if it’s waterproof or water resistant though. It may say it in the description 🤷🏻♀️

For short hikes, just to hold some water and spare clothes, is this a good buy?

Yes! The side pockets can hold up to a 32 oz Nalgene and then some light clothes should definitely fit on the inside.

Can it be worn front facing?

I don’t think it’s made to be worn front facing but I just tried it and I guess it can be but it’s not as comfortable as wearing it as a backpack.
