I've had the product for several months and it is a little work-horse; keeping rooms that are usually damp pefectly dry. I found it to be the perfedct size: light enough to move from room to room, but also big enough to do serious work. The controls were intuitive, and the digital humidity display makes it easy to keep track of how well its performing. The noise level is resonable and the drain plug on the back is very convienent for continual use. I am very happy with my purchase.

One of my better purchases on Amazon. I often end up with mediocre stuff, but this is legit. Not a cheap knockoff. It’s solid and heavy, in a good way, with a thick cord to handle the wattage. I live in California, so humidity isn’t a huge problem like other regions—but our house sits near a creek bed and we are near the coast. The upstairs is fine, but the downstair suites get damp and stay cool like a basement. Great for the summers, but not so much the rest of the year. Disposable hangers and boxes and smaller systems were too bothersome to keep up -and not doing enough so I bought this about 2 months ago. It is overkill for how I use it, but that’s what I wanted. It could cover the whole downstairs, but instead I shut it in one room or room/bath suite at a time. Within a few hours the room humidity drops from 72 to 52 and I drain a 3/4 to a full container each time. It is insane how much moisture is in the air. If using in a bathroom, I shut the toilet seat, sink drains, and cover the shower drain with a cloth. I open the closets and it draws the moisture from them. It’s meant for over a 1000 square feet so it works fast with these small spaces. I call it “the beast” because it just works so effectively. It’s quiet for me, especially when in another room. I can’t be in the room when it is on for very long because it sucks the moisture out of me. I can feel the change in the air when I breathe. I don’t know about the electric bill and don’t care, because it is fixing a problem. I don’t to keep buying and replacing disposables. I use it 3-4 hours every other day moving it from room to room. My suggestion is buy bigger than you need. That’s what I did. This way it works faster without struggling and you don’t need to run it 24/7. Hope this helps

This size is perfect for almost 800sf. Keeping the humidity down in this rainy PNW climate makes for a healthier, cozier home. My laundry area is about in the center and the dehumidifier hose drains into the washer standpipe. Easy to set up. Easy to operate. Works great!

Multiple settings for "always on," or set the desired humidity - good. Timer for turning on or off - good. Child lock - good. Small - good. Relatively quiet - good. The only questionable aspect is whether it would cover 2500 sq ft. Im skeptical. But its positives make it a good choice for the price.

What a great deal. It is working much better than expected. I placed it on a shelf on the back wall of my 2 1/2 car garage/woodshop and ran the drain line out of a window. I was just hoping to reduce the 90% humidity during the rainy summer days in Atlanta because my tools were rusting and I was getting mold. I wasn't even able to store wood in there for more than a day or two. It took about a week, but not only did it bring the humidity down to 50% and less, it actually shuts off much of the time. Right now it's 37%. Perfect. The whole garage feels and smells better. It's also very quite. If there is no music playing, or tools running, I still have to listen specifically for it, or check the little light to see if it is running. What a deal!

This basement humidifier checked all of the boxes!! It has all functions you could need. It’s really quiet. Sometimes I need to go check it to make sure it’s still running it’s so quiet . It comes with a hose but I wanted to kee track of the water it collects. It stops when the water bin is full. The water pan is easy to remove and has a handle .Not heavy to empty. So far it has done what it’s suppose . I empty it in the evening and in the morning. Musty dampness is gone!! I love it so far! I think AI recommended it as highly reliable. You won’t be sorry . I researched for weeks!

We purchased it for our 800 sq ft cottage to help control the moisture levels. Had zero issues with leakage. Effective for our home. Easy to use and we love that it turns itself off when full. Never have to worry about emptying it when we aren’t home. Perfect size for our space.

Pardon my cynicism but I've had more dehumidifers fail than I care to think about. Here in NW Florida it's humid almost all the time. This is one that works as advertised and is extremely effective. My master bath is connected to my bedroom so this is covering a good 750-1000 sf with ease . I like that the water tank is in the front and you can see how much has accumulated and hot air discharge is on the side and not the top. More effective. Very easy to empty. Rolls easy, not too heavy if need to carry (two indented handles on either side) I typically end up emptying it twice a day and again before bed so it doesn't fill up while I'm sleeping and it gets all clammy. This is doing an excellent job at keeping pantry items and items that require lower humidity at the proper levels. Also knocks the humidity down fast after a long hot shower. It's quiet and a great value. Today is day 11 of non stop use & 3 of the days it rained steady and this didn't skip a beat. Showed you the back as it has a nice cord wrap feature and the side picture shows you the operating specs. Controls on top are very easy to use. Everything listed on the item description is accurate.
