Nokia2660 Flip DS w/o HS black

Bought this phone for my father as a replacement due the 3G network switch off. He’s used a Nokia before so it seemed a good option. He’s not interested in having access to Wi-Fi etc, and only wants a phone to make calls, send texts and take the odd photo on a pay as you go basis. The first obstacle was opening the phone to insert the SIM card. We had to resort to a knife to open it, so the joint between top and bottom is a bit chewed up. Unfortunately, despite several reviews he had read before buying, the sound level and quality is atrocious. He’s not deaf, but is in his 60’s so needed something with clear sound. With the volume turned up as high as it goes (9), the level of sound coming through the phone is woeful. In comparison the ring tone is loud. This is so wide of the mark he’s considering sticking it in a drawer and looking for an alternative. Of course we can’t return it due to damaging the case to insert the sim. I don’t recommend that anyone buys this phone. It’s rubbish.

Not working well

I purchased this on UK Amazon site. It didn't come with a UK charger. No English instructions. I would give a review of the phone, however I now need to go out and buy a plug adapter!

I don’t know why this is sold , worst phone I had .
