I’ve worked with a lot of natural surfactants, but this Decyl Glucoside from Hznxolrc is easily one of the cleanest, most effective I’ve used. The consistency is just right — not too thick, not too watery — and it blends beautifully into my formulations.I used it for a foaming face cleanser and a baby-safe shampoo, and the bubbles are chef’s kiss. Rich, gentle, and long-lasting — without irritating the skin or stripping moisture. I usually get my coco glucoside from a company called "makeyourownbuzz," but I had an order and realized I did not restock midway. In an effort to get the order to the customer, I purchased this brand thinking it would be the same. Let me start off by saying there is nothing wrong with this coco-glucoside; it is just much thinner compared to the one I usually get. I expected some variation since it’s from another company, but it just was not for me since the viscosity this product provided would result in a thinner final product with less dense foaming. I ended up returning this and ordering it from Cocojojo. I have not received it yet, but based on the picture, I think the viscosity of that one is what I need. This also does not come with instructions, so it is not user-friendly at all for beginners. Please know that you can NOT use this product undiluted. It is a concentrated cleanser, and while gentle, it can cause irritation if not diluted properly.

This is exactly what I've been looking for! Used to use Dr bronners till I realized how high the ph was. Tried to reduce it and it turned into some awful substance. After a ton of searching, found this natural cleanser that can be ph adjusted. It smells just like the Burts bees pomegranate shampoo I used to love, so I'm pretty sure this is what they used in it. Made a shampoo, body wash and face wash, and I'm very happy and so excited to keep working with this product.
