Works great
Works great. Very Low cfm to make it work.

Gets the job done.
For the price of this thing it is worth it if you just have to use it now and then. I used it for my wife's ac on her car and it worked great.

I really tried...
I really wanted this to work. I even bought a compressor to try and make this work, in addition to a coupling (combines hoses from up to 3 compressors), and a ball valve (to regulate volume flow, since I could control pressure (psi) at the compressor, but not flow).3 compressors: a small pancake compressor and 2 large 25-27 gallon compressors. One large compressor at 4 CFM at 90psi, the other large compressor at 5.2 CFM at 90psi. On my last try, I combined hoses from the 2 large compressors and had the ball valve after the coupling and before the vacuum pump. I set the compressor regulators at 90psi and regulated the ball valve flow so my gauges would show 25 vacuum. My compressors STILL couldn't keep up with the demand of this vacuum pump.At the end of the day, I had to just give up and return it. It wasn't worth any further efforts to make it work. It requires far too much flow and far too high psi to be realistic for a home mechanic. I ended up going to my local auto parts store and just renting (free if you return it in good condition) an electric vacuum pump, which worked fantastically. I would've just gone and rented one in the beginning if I knew how much of a pain this vacuum pump would be, but I thought it'd be nice to have in my arsenal of tools.NOT WORTH IT. Rent the tool from auto parts store if you're doing these jobs rarely. Otherwise, buy an electric vacuum pump if you do them regularly. The electric vacuum pump is a breeze, and since you want it to run vacuum for 30min to an hour to boil off any moisture or flushing agents, it'll save you a great deal of wear and tear on your compressor/s from running continuously for that amount of time.

Works very welll!
Bought it with a it of trepidation but once I used it...it really worked and at a significantly lower price than the others. I didn't need it for AC use but needed to pull a vacuum in a gas tank to suck in some sealer to patch a leak in the tank. I hooked it up to my air compressor and it worked like champ. It pulled enough vacuum to pull in the sides of the tank! Very glad I bought this vacuum pump.

Need a good size compressor in order to make this work right
It's easy to use and price is reasonable

Great pump
Worked exactly as expected! Easy to hook up to your mainifold gauges. Just add a quick connect to the back and turn on the compressor. I used a 21gal compressor and only needed to stop the vacuum pump twice to let it recharge. Feels cheap but worked great. Only thing that I didn't like about the vacuum is how it evacs any remaining freon into the casing of the pump. Cleaned up easily. Also DON'T buy the "recommended with this item" fitting they list unless you are positive you need it. Your manifold gauges should fit the pump already and the fitting is for the evac pumps with a motor. You CAN'T return the fitting so be careful about buying it. (Since when can't we return Prime items?)

Works great and reasonably priced
The catch is that you need a good compressor that can deliver 90+ PSI consistently while the suction pump is running. If you have a commercial grade compressor, it works great.
