Vet recommended and cat approved
My vet recommended Pro Plan Senior Cat Food for my geriatric cat. I can report that my cat enthusiastically eats the Ocean Whitefish and Salmon Entree flavor. Her teeth are not as strong as they once were and with the addition of a bit of water she loves this pate food. Vet recommended and cat approved!

Good product
Cat loves the taste of this food. He has a urinary problem where he gets crystals in is urinary tract. This food was one of the ones I found that helps that condition We had. 12 cans is very reasonably priced. I have bought this product for over a year.

Cats like it.
I would give 5 stars, except all industrial pet food worries me due to so many mistakes, recalls, etc.. However, my cats both like this formula and all flavors of it. I have one kitty that has had a lot of tummy issues. She vomits all dry food, vomits raw food as well- Grain-free with peas makes her poop liquid, wet food with gluten meals makes her poo soft and she strains. I have not been able to find her poop since feeding her this because she is now like a ninja pooper, but I think that is a good sign, because before the reason I would know is because she would be having such a hard time and it would take her awhile. I will say, her coat has improved quite a bit, she doesn't look as bloated as she normally does.... (she has always appeared to have issues, but the vets can't find out what it wrong...). Since feeding this for several weeks, she seems to feel better all around. I saw her playing with my young cat the other day... and Lily does not play. I also watched her hopping around after a bug... These are unusual behaviors for Lily and the only thing that has changed as I have gotten her off the dry (which I fed premium dry- Instinct, but it doesn't seem to matter, she pukes it all up) and I started feeding this. I am intrigued that they use chicory root as the source of fiber, as I am pretty sure it's a low carb fiber- I know it has inulin and it a good source of soluble fiber- great for humans, not sure about cats, but it theory, it sounds better than a lot of other options. I'm just glad kitty likes it and seems to feel better and definitely looks better.

Excellent
My fussy 14 year old cat decided after other tries that this was the favorite. He had some feeding issues in the past but none with this product. It has been on his plate for a year and he still runs for it when it is offered.

Healthy for senior kitties
My fur baby licks the bowl clean when offered this brand. This food is healthy for her; she maintains a shiny coat, and has no stomach upset. I put a thin layer of dry kibble under this pate and add a little warm water. Yes, she is spoiled. :)

Low-carb and great for a diabetic cat
My two cats love this stuff. Recently had to stop feeding them my previous wet food because one of my cats was diagnosed with a mild case of diabetes. The previous food (Taste of the Wild) had lots of real meat but was also flush with fillers and plant matter. Was poking around the pet store for low-carb food but it turns out that there are no regulations in place to show that kind of nutritional facts so there is no easy way to find low-carb foods without buying the expensive prescribed stuff. That said, I was able to read through the ingredients and saw that this food had little to no plant matter and was mostly meat-derived. My cat ate this stuff for a couple weeks and it paid off because the blood test showed a much lower blood sugar level than before. Now his diabetes is managed completely by this lean food and an emergency syringe of insulin that I haven't needed to use yet.So, this really met the medical needs of my cat AND he always runs to scarf it up immediately after I serve it. Can't ask for more.

Helped my 17 year old kitty!!
My mom has noticed my 17 year old Mo has started gaining some weight back, I think it largely has to do with this food! He loves it, and my younger kitty Potato loves it too so we gotta make sure Mo is the only one getting it, as it is kinda pricey! And he's the only one that needs extra weight lol

Senior Feline loves it
My finicky senior feline approves the quality and taste. After trying this, there's no going back to other wet food products. Noticed that her coat seems extra shiny and silky.
