This is great!
I love this! Our house sometimes smells kind of musty but we have multiple sensitivities and allergies, including to those awful, overpowering plug-ins and other fragrances, which leaves us with limited options. This has helped quite a bit to make our house smell nicer. One of the kids came up with the idea to blend lemon and fir needle essential oils with vanilla absolute and it smells really good. It is a noticeable smell through the large room and entryway it is in. I give this diffuser two thumbs up.

A Thing of Beauty--and No Heat Source!
This is a beautiful, unique little non-plug-in diffuser that gives off a subtle scent of essential oil, which is exactly what I prefer. I've had plug-in diffusers in the past that gave off such overpowering sickening scents, they made me nauseous. Those would usually last around a day or two before I couldn't take the smell anymore. This baby from the Scentsationals Ceramic Flower Collection is perfect. The thirsty wick absorbs the essential oil you choose to pour in the container, up it goes through the ceramic flower and....aaah, every so often you catch a light whiff of (in my case) lavender. (If you're looking for a strong cover-up fragrance to battle bathroom smells, this won't work.)The object itself is practically a work of art! So well done. The 3D sculptural flower on top of the wooden lid -- a rose or gardenia maybe -- is really exquisite. Looks very delicate, though, and you wouldn't want to drop it. And if you're craving just a bit more intense fragrance, you can put a drop or two of essential oil in the center of the flower. The fact that this needs no electrical or heat source is a major plus. Just set it up and forget it. (You do have to use a fair amount of essential oil to cover the bottom of the jar so that the double wick can absorb it.)Judging from the picture in the listing concerning this particular design, I was expecting just the bee -- so be advised that there's a bee, a dragonfly and a butterfly decorating this diffuser. All three are tastefully done. (See pix.) Very pleased with this purchase. Scentsational!

Subtle but lovely
I've never tried a passive diffuser before. I love scents, so I liked the idea of having another way to experience them. This is small, but it is a very nice decorative item. The flower looks nicer in real life. The insects drawn around the outside of the jar are artistic and beautiful. It's lovely just to look at. As for diffusing, it's got a very small range. Think of it like a bouquet of flowers that require you to sniff. When I walk by the general area, I will get a whiff of a beautiful scent, but just a sense of it. I like to sniff the flower on top when I walk by, and flood my senses with pleasure. If you're looking for a diffuser to cover odor or work as an air freshener, this is probably not it. This is more like scent art -- a way to appreciate the scents on purpose in a decorative container. For that, it works really well. It only takes enough oil to cover the bottom of the container, so it's an economical way to enjoy the oils.

Faint scent, but it does work
It’s definitely better for a smaller space. I must say the directions included are useless. I almost restored it because I could smell anything, then Amazon provided a trouble shooting page, and it turns out I need to fill it about half way with water then add the oil.

Great for a small space
It's very cute. The instructions did mention that the essential oil may slightly discolor the ceramic flower on top, and although I did notice a slight change in color, it wasn't much. The scent throw is minimal, but it works really well in my guest bathroom and looks nice. I would recommend for any small space.

This thing really works!! Wow! Great for a bathroom.
I am shocked by this product! It’s not only beautiful as a decoration, but functions wonderfully as a diffuser.I’m using it in my bathroom, keep in mind that I leave the door open when I’m not in there, yet each time I walk in I’m greeted with a very nice aroma!I fully expected for this to only be detectable in a small closed room, but it’s proving me wrong. I put lemon essential oil in mine and it’s so nice and fresh smelling each time I approach it.You’ll need to stock up on a larger bottle of your favorite essential oil, it takes quite a bit to cover the bottom of the diffuser. Just a few drops won’t cut it. You could easily pour a whole standard sized bottle of your essential oil into this just to use it.There are multiple designs around the container, not just one, you can choose to have either the bee or the butterfly facing outward.Highly recommend!

Looks pretty, but does not give off a scent
Does not give off a scent unless it is right in front of you. This would be good for an office desk when it is right in front of you, or perhaps bedside table, but this does not give off any scent if trying to diffuse through a room.
