Great High Quality Skillet That Requires a Medium Flame
Superb skillet that is easy-peasy to clean. The trick is not to turn up the fire too hot. This skillet requires a medium flame. THAT is the reason my husband is not allowed to use it. He likes a hot fire. He only gets to use the cast iron skillets. He can't damage those and they are wonderful. too.

Waste of Money!!
We were excited to purchase this item as we needed to replace our smaller frying pan.We used our small pan for things like eggs, and since we had bigger version from EOE with the same concept non-stick honeycomb design, we thought this would work for us.Unfortunately we were disappointed. The good: It is very durable and very easy to clean. The bad: It sticks. Eggs, potatoes, onions; they all stick. We probably should have stayed with the other company and spend a little more.Update: I hope that maybe the pan needed some more time to be seasoned, or maybe we were not waiting enough time for it to heat up. Nope, its just bad quality. I would have added pictures of how it looked after my last attempt to make an omelette. In short, everything stuck. Instead I have a comparison between this pan, and a different one that actually works. Eggs got stuck, did not cook evenly and fell apart. The other pan worked perfectly. This one is going to the recycling bin.

Scrambled eggs do not stick
I don't know why people say that you can't make scrambled eggs and it sticks badly. This is the 3rd time I've used the pan and tried some scrambled eggs. I used medium heat (as suggest by others), use a lower temp versus your other pans) and used a little melted butter like you always do for eggs and it did NOT stick and was easy to clean.

Works well, but question dishwasher endurance.
I purchased their 8" pan in Jan. 2024. I will say first and foremost, it does work. I use it extensively for breakfast and many dinner meals. They say non-stick and easy clean, I will vouch for that. Eggs clean right off as does melted cheese and meat browning. However, in July of 2025, I noticed a fair size spot where the coating had come off. This occurrence was noticed after removing from the dishwasher. NOTE: I wash this pan at least twice a week in the dishwasher, other times I hand wash. I reached out to the manufacturer on Aug 8th or so regarding the problem and submitted photos and amazon receipt as proof. Being that it was apparently still under warranty, I received a replacement by August 18. I've gotten out of it what I paid for that is for sure. But since the coating defect was found after pulling it from the dishwasher, I would be hesitant to wash it that way regularly. Regardless, it really does a good job and the company was respondent to my issue and made a more than satisfactory replacement.

Not what I expected
This pan is interesting. I'm not sure if it's good or bad. It definitely depends on your expectations.Strengths- It's easy to clean. Water and a sponge will do the trick every time.- Anything that sticks while cooking usually comes off with a scraping motion from your spatula.- Heat transfers well. Things do cook easily and quickly.- It's tough. I haven't damaged it with a metal spatulaWeaknesses-Scrabbled eggs stick terribly. You lose a third of them to the pan. They scrap off relatively easily, but not until the stuck part is too over cooked to be desirable-It doesn't brown things well at all. Steaks don't brown much. Potatoes crips well, but the crispy part comes off the potato and remains in the pan. Any browned bits will stick to the pan and come of your food. It's the perfect pan for a deglazed pan sauce, but not for what you'd put it on.So how to really qualify this pan is difficult. It basically lives in that area where a pan works well enough so you don't want to get rid of it, but not well enough that you don't periodically look for a different pan to use.

That this Black Cube frying pan is AWESOME & For most as good as the 3 times as expensive HexClad
It provides all the benefits of teflon, but is way better since here you can use sharp steel tools without even scratching it one bit. It also heats up VERY fast on our induction cooktop, relative to our teflon pans that we just tossed out. We first bought a Hexclad since we knew that Teflon is just not good for you and wanted to test out some new innovative solution so we first bought the 10" HexClad on sale and loved it , then we were to order one more but 8" and found the BlackCube that looked the same but is about 1/3 of the price, so we got one 8" Hexclad and one 8" BlackCube and they are equally good in our kitchen. Maybe if you're in in a restaurant using gas, that the external Hex-coating is adding some benefits since it will enable owners to keep the outside as new too, but for us, they work equally well. Normally I don't rave about products, but this one is for sure worth promoting because we really love it and also because it likely will last a very long time, even if treated tough, thus it's good for the environment too and the wallet. I am going to learn more about the Hex-technology.

Save Your Money
Definitely NOT “nonstick!” I have several hybrid pans that work as advertised. Not this one. Food definitely sticks and it’s difficult to clean.I do not know what that spot is on the bottom of the pan. My guess is some of the “film” peeled off. I scrub and scrub with an SOS pad and stays the same.Save your money and buy a different hybrid pan. This one is definitely going back.
