Do these fit corolla cross? they all say they do but i’ve now tried 2 from amazon and they don’t.

It fits any car with a normal sun visor.

Will this fit a thick visor on a Toyota RAV4?

The metal clip is fairly strong - it would likely have to be forced (bent) to fit a thick visor - think it would eventually 'dent' said visor material. Probably better available options for your application.
