Much better than previous versions!
Better than earlier versions! I’ve been buying these for a few years now. Earlier versions had a different fabric blend. Old ones felt like they had less spandex and the elasticity would wear out fast, causing the earlier ones to sag after only about 15 uses or so. The fabric also felt heavier, contributing to the early sagging.I’m happy to report these are much better. More elasticity and they stay up both better and after more repeated wearing and washings. The fabric has less of a sheen and the fabric isn’t as heavy, although just as thick (if that makes sense). They are even a bit more comfortable to wear.I always liked the mid-gray color. Seems to go with nearly everything I wear without looking like old school dress socks. Comrad is the only compression sock company with a wide leg version, doesn’t look like a dress sock, comes in non-dress-sock solid colors, and consistently stocks in my size. There are others with cooler designs and wild colors, but the colors are never consistent from season to season and my size is rarely stocked, if they even have a wide leg version. I can wear these with casual boots, sneakers, etc. and it’s the type of sock that just never looks out of place no matter the shoe, boot, or outfit. The key to making these last is following the washing directions religiously. Wash gentile in cold water with a mild detergent and always air dry. I’ve taken to air drying a lot more these days, so it doesn’t bother me. Never seen any compression socks that recommend tumble dry, so if you already know compression socks, these are no different.

Comfortable socks!
As a nurse, I’m always looking for comfortable compression socks that don’t make my feet sweat or cut off circulation at the top. These are breathable, comfortable and cute. I wear them for 12 hour shifts and they prevent my legs from getting achy. I have wide calf’s (18in) so I got the largest size and they fit great.

Tighter than sizing chart would indicate and heavier than some other brands
I bought these and the Levsox and Physix Gear to compare and to wear my favorite on an upcoming trip.I think this brand is overpriced for what it is. Even though it was a 15-20 psi it was harder to put on that the others, which were 20-30 psi socks. They were a little tight and perhaps I should have ordered a wider sock. The other two brands were much more comfortable and the Levsox were much lighter weight than the other two. Nothing wrong with these socks at all. They just suffered in the comparison I ran.

The Winner!
I have long been beset by varicose veins and was advised by my doctor years ago to wear compression knee-high socks. I stand and walk often at work, as well, so I finally got in gear and tried several, including: Jobst, Dr. Segal's, Vim & Vigr, Go2Socks, Sockwell and Charmking. (Note that one of more of these come in various fabrics, so there may have been a fabric other than the one I tried that might have been better.)The clear winner was Comrad. The fit is best, the appearance of the fabric is best, and the feel of the fabric on my feet and legs is best. I was planning to just put them in the washing machine and even in the dryer, both of which you're not really supposed to do, but I am so fond of these that I have decided to treat them with utmost respect and just hand wash them and hang to dry. (Another note: Maybe it's okay to put these in the washer. I know that is not true of most compression socks, but it might be true of these.) (Oh, tiny downside: There is a special soft fabric right at the heel. It feels very nice, but I noticed that it easily became slightly snagged and lost its perfect appearance after just a wearing or two. However, this is not a problem for me because the shoes I wear these with have closed heels.)

love these compression socks
I have tried other knee-high compression socks. Never liked them very much--until now! These are very comfortable. My calf is 14 inch, so I sized up to the 'wide' version--which fit perfectly. They are easy to get on and off, yet the 15-20mmHg feel snug and stay up even during aerobic exercise. I think these are going to make a big difference in helping my legs and feet feel better. Will be watching for another Amazon sale where these socks are included--at which point, I intend to stock up! But even at full price, I'd say they are worth it.
