MAXXHAUL80746 Tire Dolly, 300 lb. Capacity

Bought a wall mount tire storage on Amazon, but it turned out to be a poor purchase. Tried this instead, and am very happy. Casters are very effective, with minimal installation out of the box. Very sturdy cart and rolls over a garage floor with ease.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This tire dolly was reasonably priced and it looked well-made from the pictures. This turned out to be true and I am very satisfied with the quality.

Have one for my studded tires and will swap out in October. Next I bought one for my RV just in case of a blowout. Guess what? Used it just the other day. Easier to drop down tire to pull out from under the RV and rollit into position. After old tire (which was new) cooled down, rolled it into place and stored it. State Police was impressed with how quickly the tire change went. Trooper said every RV owner needs one.

I was more than a bit surprised by the number of 5 star reviews, because this this just isn't great. It is okay. i keep a different set of wheels on my winter/summer tires so I have them in individual covers in order to protect the wheels. I have never tried stacking them before but they were taking up so much shelf space in the garage that this, if functional, would free up a lot of shelf space.There is a little compartment in the middle where you can store something (like invoice for this!) and the wheels were easy to put on. Once you put the first tire/wheel onto the dolly, you can't see those wheels and you have to make sure you don't lock it accidentally as the lock is difficult to operate when there is a lot of weight on the dolly.My tire/wheel covers are fabricated of a heavy duty waxed cloth. So they slide and getting four of them straight on this dolly was interesting. I finally backed it up into a corner so it couldn't run away right as I lifted the tire/wheel to the top of the stack. Moving it back into position desired with all four was a struggle and I felt like the tire/wheels were going to fly off.So it works.......but I wished it was sturdier because I don't have a lot of faith in how this will hold up over time and without question there needs to be some modification so that the wheels work as intended.

Could find the wheels at first, but center has a well done center storage compartment so you can hide these away if removed. Think thos was an excellent feature. As for the rest? Its a simple dolly to store tires on... very sturdy.

I use this to store my seasonal wheel/tire combos. It holds four wheels with mounted tires without any issues. It is very sturdy. It rolls easily with a full load. I wish I would’ve bought this thing years ago.
