AcuRite Waterfall Rain Gauge with 5-inch Rainfall Capacity (00858W), Clear

This item was very easy to install. It is easy to read and the water pours out easily. It looks nice and seems to be durable. This is one of the cheaper gauges available and has functioned well.

Quality rain gauge, quality materials, and the large numbers make it easy to read from a distance. Being able to look out and see the red stick floating with the giant numbers is nice! Painted the top to match my post caps as well, looks great!

It's easy to read even from 10 ft away. The only small issue is the red float inside the gauge turns pick after a season from sunlight, but it's still functional just fine. Would not trade it for a small circular gauge.

This is perfect! I can see how much rain in real time from across the yard! It is also easy to mount and empty when you want. I mounted on the top of the fence and it worked perfectly. It feels like it will last due to quality and isn't like some of the others that use thin material.

So simple, but effective!I was able to attach this to my deck railing with just a screwdriver, not extra equipment needed. When installed, it virtually disappears unless I look for it.After the holder is installed, the rain bucket simply slips through the hole from the top, and is held in place by the lip on the bucket. A thin red plastic strip floats on water, and makes it easy to read how much rainfall you received.Be careful that you don't throw the float out when you empty the bucket or else you'll have to look in the bushes below to find it (don't ask how I know).
