Pick up some rock, painting, and thought I would buy these. They worked out great. The texture was smooth, definitely worth the money. The rocks came in different shapes and sizes. Perfect for kids.

I purchased these to paint with my 4-year-old granddaughter. The kit comes with 45 pieces. They come packaged in a ziploc bag, so you can use what you want at any given time. Before I use any, I wash the dust from each rock, and they dry quickly. We have had several rock painting sessions, and she will often ask to paint them. They are nice and flat and come in various sizes, some smaller (1 1/2" to 2") and then some larger (3" to 4") and oval shaped. We have used acrylic paint with brushes, but I have found that acrylic markers work best with her because they make less of a mess. I am all about an easy clean up, and so is she. I also have her write her name on the back, and I add the date so I can spray and seal them. These are perfect for arts and crafts and encouraging creativity. Annnnd, a great way to create your own little rock garden. Memories made. Recommend.

Half of them were the perfect size for the project. I tried using markers on them but the stones are too dark . I suggest using paint for them. They stones thenself are just like they describe. Great product.

Yes just what I wanted Smooth , flat and variety of sizes East to paint I do wish the color was a bit lighter

Bought these to go with paint markers. I wrapped the stack of presents for this Granddaughter with the rocks on top. She opened these first. I said "you know how some people get coal for Christmas? You got rocks!" Everyone laughed ,then she opened the markers!

Excellent quality. Great for use in small art projects.
