Buenas para aprender escritura japonesa
Mi esposa quedo muy feliz con su regalo, le ha ayudado en el aprendizaje del hiragana y katakana. Frente a las cartas son como cartas de poker, no son muy gruesas, pero tampoco son tan endebles.

A really wonderful option for an older learner
These durable cards come with both Hiragana and Katakana on the same card with a scanner to hear how the character should be pronounce which I believe help the students learn faster. They are able to hear the sound and see both characters so they are able to graduate from Hiragana quicker. It also gives pronunciation examples in English if you don't have an option to have the scanner. They come in a box to make it easy to carry them and keeping them. It's great option for someone starting to learn Japanese.

90% correct
Not all cards are accurate, in fact, some are completely wrong. Once I figured out the right wrong I took out the bad ones and the good ones have been helpful.

Good concept, confusing font
I like the concept of these cards - it makes it very easy to learn and have context to the characters. However, the font is weird. So when I learn on my apps and then come back to the cards, I can't match the symbols.Take this in the photo. This is こ (ko). And it looks similar to に (ni) - so I learned them together by saying that こ was に without the stroke. However, the cards fancy font makes them look very different. こ looks like a Z.We have fancy scripts for our own alphabet, but I wouldn't give it to a kindergarten class to learn from. It's confusing.

Great for beginners
Been looking for some intro flashcards for Hiragana and Katakana for a long time and these were perfect. Both systems together, with examples words that use the character but no extra or extraneous bits that take away from the learning. Perfect for what I was looking for.
