Omg I love this weed eater! It has pretty good lasting time on battery. About like a full tank of gas in a weed eater for a full charge. Ppl this weed eater has a huge head like a big Sthl has on them and this weed eater cuts as good or better that gas powered weed eaters. I’m very pleased plus the weed eater comes with a 5yr factory warranty from Skil. It’s well balanced and same size as a straight shaft sthl weed eaters. I rather have this weed eater than a gas powered ones now. All gotta do is put battery in and string done. Oh yeah I almost forgot the weed eater has an auto load. Cut string 16ft long insert it thru the hole and pull out other hole make it equal length 8ft both sides and on top the head is a crank u crank counter clockwise and it’ll spool up the string itself don’t have to take it apart like most weed eaters. Only time gotta take it out is if u have string on u wanna change out from

Does what it was designed for plus .A little learning curve to reload cutting line but not bad. I have used it for more than it was designed for, like cutting poppas grass and it does well.

Works great but the threading is not that easy

Works great, I have a fair amount of trimming in my yard, Works as well as my old gas trimmer did without pulling cord to get started. Battery lasts very good as I can get my work done with half of a charge.

I just received this a few days ago and I can’t put into words how impressed I am with its capability. A full charge in less than 1&1/2 hours, (the charger has a cooling fan and auto shut-off) and two speeds that will take down everything in sight, so wear protective clothing and safety glasses. I didn’t want a gas trimmer because their power scares me, but this equals my neighbors gas powered trimmer and they are impressed!I purchased it not only by reviews, but my dad always talked about Skil products so with my being 67 years old, I knew they had an excellent reputation in comparison to unknown brands and I was right. Be prepared if you aren’t in top shape, because this will give you a workout, but my yard looks terrific!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The blower is amazing. The trimmer I have not had enough time to use.

Wow! This trimmer and blower combo exceeded my expectations. It's not as powerful as a gas powered stuff but powerful enough to be effective. Got an hour of use out of the battery which was more than enough to trim and blow my 1/3 of an acre. It's nice not to mess with mixing gas. Would recommend.

I am absolutely impressed with this machine. The 40 volts provides power similar to gas powered weed eaters. The line feed is simple to use. The size and the speed of this unit is top notch. Ive owned many weed eaters but this one is the best Ive ever used. Its durable and simple to use. I recommend this unit with great confidence!
