Better than the Chinese products!
So far so good. I have owned several of these in the past and they tend to fail in a few months. After reviewing many of these types of devices I found that most are Chinese made devices sold under many different manufacturer names at many different price points from $19 - $50 and the connection can be somewhat inconsistent. This product is an Australian product and is a bit better engineered and per my research has better heat dissipation so hopefully this will be more durable than smaller cheaper devices. The design on this is a bit bigger than others I’ve used but the connection and set up was very simple. Totally plug and play, just connect to your Bluetooth. This product has no battery and pulls power from your cars USB or type c CarPlay port. This product is on the higher side as compared to other similar type items. So far I have no complaints as it automatically connects without issue. The sound quality almost seems to a bit off as when connected via a cable. I tweaked my EQ and didn’t notice it any longer. If this lasts 6 months or more Ill be happy.

Has consistently connected without issue
I installed this on my Porsche Boxster with the PCCM Plus entertainment system seven weeks ago as of this writing. Has consistently connected without issue. The sound is crisp and clear and there is very little lag when making music selections. CarPlay works flawlessly including navigation and hands free calling. I have it tucked away in my glove box. It has brought my car completely current as far as technology is concerned. Please note this unit is only compatible with iPhones and wired CarPlay head units.

Works great with Sync 3 system!
I’m using this in a 2018 Ford F-150. I’ve tried some other “Amazon/eBay specials” and they were all JUNK. This one, I had higher expectations since it was a “name brand”, and I was very surprised to see how well it lived up to that expectation! The setup was a little finicky at first, but once everything got setup I haven’t had any major issues. The boot time is pretty quick, maybe 5-10 seconds longer than it would normally take when booting up CarPlay wired, honestly by the time you’re out of your parking spot, out of your garage or driveway, CarPlay will be running. ONLY issues I have that honestly don’t bother me at all, are once in a while the music will “blip”, it’s like a nanosecond of interference. Most people wouldn’t even notice it. The other thing is, the navigation doesn’t look as smooth as it does when wired. Think of it like going from 60fps to 20fps. These things could just be an issue (if you want to call it that) on my end. Other than that, it’s been working very well. There’s an IP address that you can type into your phone, and connects you to the software settings where you can manually adjust bandwidth settings, update firmware, etc. So tech heads can dial it in to meet their needs. Definitely recommend picking this up.

Works pretty good, despite some random dropouts
Just got back from 3 weeks on the road with this thing and it worked great. The only issues was some random dropouts where Carplay would have to restart itself. But that only happened a handful of times and it was quick for it to reset itself, requiring no user interaction. I'd still buy this again though, it's way more convenient than having to plug in your phone each time.

Easy to use.
This is my third wireless device for Apple CarPlay that I’ve tried. All of the instructions are easy to read and understand. The software in the device is in English and easy to understand. It was literally plug-and play. I just plugged it right into my CarPlay connection in my car connected to it with Bluetooth and my phone automatically connected. Having had some negative experiences in the past I did log in to check the firmware, and it was up-to-date. I haven’t used it much, but I will come back and update this. If I find that it drops signal as the other devices I’ve used have done.

I wouldn't recommend this product
Does the small box work... Short answer, yes*.* = only if you want music and GPS 90% of the time. This device will stop working in the middle of a drive. This device will also cause your music to play at a lower volume than normal, thus causing the end user to crank the stereo volume up. Yes, the device is tiny and easy to hide. BUT this device isn't reliable. I would not purchase this item. Not your typical quadlock quality..
