went to GP for fatigue, forgetfulness, dizziness, unusually early to bed etc TSH(thyroid stimulating hormone) came back at 5.8. this result is raised and would be treated with thyroxine in some countries but here in uk you need to be >6 and it comes back as 'normal'. This is a travesty as some sources say above 3 is raised and treatment with thyroxine aims for under 3 meaning it is not acceptable >3. basically this has saved my life from misery. i dont know how i got so deficient in iodine. my energy, my mind, my mood etc felt like they were coming back to what they had been like 4 yrs before. there have been many studies showing uk is deficient , we also do not use iodised salt in uk. iodine deficiency is linked to breast cancer as well as thyroid problems. a sluggish thyroid (and metabolic rate) raises cholesterol too!so this is the likely cause of heart disease. try iodine for forgetfulness- im sure half of dementia cases are actually underactive thyroid.

I agree with the previous comments about the poor dispensing. For a product that is measured "in DROPS" and stains dreadfully, would it be too much to expect for the manufacturer to supply it with a proper pipette? The dispenser didn't work at all on my bottle, I tried improvising with the pump spray from an old bottle of colliodal silver but that clogged up after two days.I bought the Lugol's for candida and would love to be able to say whether the product is effective or not. But without a way of dispensing it that does not result in my having to spend at least half an hour scrubbing our plastic sink, the worktop, the tile grouting on the splashback, or anything else it comes into contact with, I've given up on it for now. (I imagine with a French manicure it would be game over as well...)If you don't have a spare pipette at home, I strongly recommend you order one from Amazon if you purchase this product.

As someone with hypothyroid who could'nt take thyroxine, I did all my research and decided to go on the Iodine Protocol and after preparing by getting all my recommended vitamins and minerals up to scratch and using celtic salt I started extremely low on 1 drop daily. After about 3 weeks of this I have started to experience unpleasant symptoms and so have stopped taking it, for the time being. Those symptoms have subsided now so I'm sure of their cause !I dont want to give a poor review as it clearly is extremely theraputic for most people who use it and I do intend to start on it again after further supplementation, but as yet it's not doing anything for me.I think anyone is sensitive to new things should go very carefully with this and go up slowly, ie, over a period of months rather than weeks perhaps.I did expect it might make me nauseaus but even just taking it in a little water did not find this atall and so while pleased about that am merely disappointed at the moment.It's very encouraging though to read all the positive things others have to say about it and this is helpful to me especially since I'm not giving up. I'll make an additional post if I manage to get into it properly in due course !

Have now taken this product for the 21 suggested. Am not able to say if it has produced any benefits or not, as none seem to be apparent at this time. After the 21 days I tried the paint test on my inner arm. The Iodine disappeared within a short time, suggesting that I may be more deficient than I thought. Have now, 1 week later started another 21 days programme. This time however I am going to take it twice a day, morning and evenings to see if that improves anything.

I bought this product for topical application on a keloid scar that I have found impossible to get rid of. I used it for a short while and had about a 20% improvement in my scar. It is not so red now and I have begun to use the product again to gain more benefits which I know it will deliver. Excellent product.

I have been sharing this with my wife, using it on and off as a transdermal application. The bottle doesn't look at all depleted. Essential for some people with certain health imbalances - it improved my energy a little too.No bother with the drip issue - don't be a baby, just drop it on your abdomen somewhere and rub in!

I quit these and started using kelp tablets instead the dropper is HIGHLY inconsitent sometimes small drops come out other times really big drops and sometimes many come out at once when oyu dont want them too, i have no idea how much iodine im intaking when i use this product as the dropper is woefully inconsitent and another problem its very messy and stains items...I would not recommend this to anyone.0/5

If you need a product with a high concentration of iodine, this seems to be it. However the method of liquid dispensing is extremely poor, leading to droplets having to be shook out of the bottle, which is both annoying and imprecise.
