Interesting mix, some uncirculated, a couple of gems.....
I didn't like that several of the coins had been cleaned.

Don't count on getting many under 1940
First time I ordered received a indian head penny and a 1917 fairly decent so ordered couple more pounds no indians a few 30s 220 + 40s and 50s that were definitely searched by someone at some point and time

At least this seller does not pretend to be shipping unsorted coins.
If you are looking to upgrade you extremely common 1940-1958 wheat pennies, or are just starting to collect pennies, this will suit your needs. The item is arguably exactly what is described however out of 148 pennies, all but 11 coins were in that late date range. Of the 11 others five coins were 1939 Philadelphia (no mint mark) and rounding out the final six coins were 2ea 1917, 1 ea 1919 1ea. 1920, 2ea. 1934. I purchased this offering based on the product description and the previous customer reviews so I am writing this review to throw my 2 cents in. Nowhere does it say that the pound was unsorted so I would assume that there is no luck of the draw intended here. That removed expectations of an amazing coin being found, but it also seems that it should remove the chance of getting literally 30 of the same exact coin. So if you set your expectations properly, you will be okay, you will get a steel penny, it will be the highlight of the assortment. Again, just as advertised.

Decent price for what you get
This was bought on a whim and I didn't expect very good results. With that said it was a decent mix mostly 50s and 40s a few (4) 30s and 5 teens all common coins so don't expect anything rare or any key dates in this. All had good readable dates and I would say this is a good way to get the kids excited since they look nothing like what anyone has in there pockets for change these days.
