It's a food grade stainless steel chainmail glove. Kind of hard to mess up
If you wanted to fit snug it all, get one size smaller than what you think you need. If you're going to be wearing gloves under it get the size that you think you would need normally. They're big and floppy. The first time I used it a drug a giant fillet knife across the back of my fingers, not a scratch on me or the glove. If you're thinking about buying it, buy it

Works beautifully, I'm guaranteed to never chop off a finger now that I have this glove!

WORTH THE PRICE - No More Accidents!
I work in a meat cutting business so I use this on the daily for many hours. Trust me, you can't cut your hand or fingertips with this baby on. I bought this because of a coworker stealing mine that I got from my work when I was promoted.I will admit, it is kinda hard to clean. A trick I do is filling a bowl or anything to hold warm/hit water with soap in it and shaking it around in the water as much as I can. You will see that a bunch of anything caught in it will come out. It's quick and easy to do. Fortunately I have a hose at work that can help blast out whatever gets stuck in it.Also this is honestly probably the best price you could find on the market that will ACTUALLY protect your hand. So many other businesses will price it way higher and trust me it's not much of a difference. I like that it's 100% chain link. Some gloves have fabric straps but if you think about it, the fabric will leave the glove always contaminated since it won't dry or clean easily. As far as sizing.... I'm an average size female. Me and other females in the company use size small. Males usually use a large, maybe medium. My dad is a medium. Please refer to their sizing chart to be sure. If it's closer to the next size, you should size up because if it's a little tight you won't be able to close your hand entirely. It should be a little loose but not annoyingly loose.Trust me, it's worth it to buy!

Great for use with a mandoline slicer
I use this every time I'm slicing with a mandoline. After a trip to urgent care during a mishap with a mandoline slicer, the doctor recommended I invest in a chainmail glove. It will definitely keep your hand safe. You don't lose dexterity and the fit is quite comfortable. Not too heavy and the hooking clasp around the cuff stays in place. Worth the investment.

Lots of extra room at the finger tips
Appears to be good quality & would resist a knife cut (I hope to never find out) but there is a lot of room at the tips of the fingers which can be a little cumbersome when using them to chop. I put my nitrile gloves over these & it solved the issue. Good item for the pricing
