Is the cap screw on so it can be sealed back before next use?

Yes as I recall, but it is a small size, easily used in one sitting. What I don't like about screw tops is that one has to remove the metal ring underneath them for recycling. I've cut myself doing that. Since I already used them up, I'm not sure if they have a ring underneath. I think maybe they don't. That said, I do remember that I had to soak off the labels for recycling. That's time consuming. Q mixers don't have labels. Just rinse and recycle. Just don't buy the larger size. They have the rings under the lids that are dangerous to remove.
