I have issues with the compression! I have bruised my hand when the fly wheel cord had flown out of my hand on many occasions! Any comments

As with all two-stroke engines there is a knack to starting them. It is tempting to pull the cord vigorously. You need to know where the piston is in the two-stroke cycle. To do this, pull the cord slowly and gently until you feel the resistance on the cord by the piston. It will now be at the top of its stroke. Now release the pull cord so it retracts into the recoil housing. With a firm pull you should now find the engine will turn over without you experiencing the 'kickback' that has been causing you the problem.

Has anyone else experienced large amounts of vibration when using the brush cutter? As soon as i go above 75% on the throttle it is impossible to hold

yes i have when using brushcutter blade ( steel blade) if it is not inline properly in the disc grove then it vibrates really badly . try looking at manual for brush cutter fitting it shows how to set up ,. it really can be quite tricky.

Does the bump-feed work properly (e.g. bump on the ground while using) and is it reliable? I have a similar strimmer but line feed is useless.

Only this last weekend did I tackle this problem! Cut a piece of strimmer line, fold in in half, and at the centre slide this into the slot between the two spools and wind your line, feed each end through opposing holes and click the cover in position. Yes it does work fine, but it took me a little while to suss this out. Good luck.
