2017 Tundra Crewmax
** I will be updating this review **First Review 6/9/21 3-starI received this tonneau cover today, it's pretty heavy and seems to be well made. So far the quality looks good and I can tell that I will likely like it.So why the downgrade in stars? Well it does not come with a compatible Toyota bed rail bracket. Unless I missed it in the product description, it does not mention at all that this will not attach to the bed rail system from the factory without buying additional hardware. To my knowledge all Toyota Crewmax trucks come from the factory with the bed rail system at least the last two that I've owned came with them and my truck is just the sr5 not even the higher end model. Anyway with that said I will find out if this will indeed work once my 100$ of new hardware shows up, if not I will likely return for a product proven to fit my vehicle.Review #2 6/10/21 5-starOkay so the seller shipped me the needed brackets to attach to the factory bed rail system. Not sure if I was supposed to ask for these when placing the order or not, but the seller did correct the issue very quickly, I received the brackets the following day. So now that the tonneau cover is installed I can properly rate this product. Install is very easy even with the bed rail system once you have the brackets, took me about 30mins to install (I am a Honda Master Technician so it may take longer for those not mechanically versed). If you have the bed rail system one thing to note is the D-Cleats will have to be positioned in the place you want them before installing the bed rail brackets as you wont be able to freely slide them with tonneau brackets installed (no getting around that just one thing to think of when installing) The included light and tailgate weather stripping is a nice touch. I was able to stand on the panels with no problem (200lb male). I live in Las Vegas so I will update again after the summer is over to see how well it holds up to 110F+ temperatures. Overall I am very pleased with this tonneau cover now that it is installed. I also really appreciate the foam spacers they included on the cover so you can fold it up without scratching the surfaces.

Great Value
Item was as described. Easy to put together with the instructions. This is good quality for the money. Just yesterday a family member was looking at it and commented how nice it was. They couldn’t believe it was a do-it-yourself project.

Value and Quality with easy install
I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but thought this deserved one. I looked at my options and took a chance on this one. It came in one large box with the hardware necessary to install with or without the slide rails in the bed of your truck. My Tundra didn’t have rails and after getting it positioned over the bed, it took no longer than 20 minutes to install. It appears to be quality built and had some weight to it. I would recommend this for a Tundra with 6.5 foot bed. It looks like it will serve me well. I didn’t install the weather stripping yet. I’ll wait for heavy rain and see where water gets in and use it there if necessary.

Panels are good quality but mine is defective out of the box
Mine has a pretty big gap in the connector area so it’s leaking pretty bad. Was going to try and hammer it in place but don’t want to crack it and it’s depends on the adhesive pad below. Hoping seller will contact me to fix or to replace. Shipping this back is expensive.

Make sure you get the correct parts
I purchased this for a trip that I recently went on because I like the idea of having a secure hard cover over my belongings while the tail gate is locked. It worked great. It fits my truck perfectly and is 99.9 percent water tight. I had only one little drip after driving through torrential rain and that is probably because of my error with installation. I would rate it 5 stars but when I ordered the cover I wasn't asked if my truck had the sliding tie down points or not that are bolted along the box under the side rails. My truck does have that option and I wasn't sent the correct hardware to mount the cover correctly. I contacted the seller and they sent out the correct hardware for me but not before I went on my trip. I ended up removing the sliding tie down system from my truck and installed the cover. IF YOU HAVE THE SLIDING TIE DOWN SYSTEM MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE MOUNTING HARDWARE WHEN YOU ORDER THIS COVER.

Excellent Product
Based on my experience with this product previously, I just purchased it again for my latest pickup truck. It is solidly constructed, well-built and well thought out. I looks good on my truck and protects the pickup bed. One caveat - I also had the tie-down system installed in the truck bed as an option when I bought it - but - the holding arms for this Tonneau cover can't work around the tie-down brackets so I had to remove them in order to secure the cover.

Honestly surprised!
My budget was around $500. I mainly wanted a hardcover to hide and secure my camping gear on road trips. Because I also haul firewood in the winter and farm tools during the summer, I wanted the cover to be an easy on-and-off item. I didn't need anything fancy, just a solid product. I wasn't concerned about water tightness because my camp gear is made to get wet. Honestly, I am pleasantly surprised. This cover is BASIC. But it does the job perfectly. The cover top is sturdy and well-constructed. The fastening parts are no frills, but they work. Installation took about 15 minutes with no tools. Once installed, I drove from New Mexico to northern Utah and back, and everything remained tight. I also encountered a one-hour max-speed windshield wiper white knuckle rain deluge, and the bed stayed dry. Again, this cover is BASIC, but it is solid and does the job.

Decent but....
Decent cover. Easy to install. But latches that are used to secure it to the bed are cheap. I've had mine for less than two years and they're finally all broke to where I need to order new ones.
