JR Ultra 8000 S Whole Slow Juicer, smoothies, sorbet, nut milk

Out of the box this is obvious quality, a weighty solid motor unit and well designed sturdy attachments.I wanted a cold press juicer for apples to squeeze juice for cider making, and 20 litres was pressed in about 90 minutes. It can handle a medium apple whole, although I quartered the apples as I added them. The anti drip bung is brilliant you can keep squeezing whilst the 1 litre collection jug is emptied and then flip open the bung and it's already half full again. So much better than my previous high speed centrifugal juicer that foamed and separated the juice, this one augers the fruit into a strong sieve and the dry pomace material is collected in another jug. Easy to assemble and take down, rinsed and cleaned in about 5 minutes. Happy with this purchase.

Had the juicer a week after replacing an old Philips fast machine.Mixed reviews in our house. The juice produced contains a lot of pulp if the strainer is not used. The children won't drink this. I enjoy it but the husband doesn't. When you do use the strainer it takes a long time and you have to helpnot along, making sure it doesn't overflow and pushing the pulp around the strainer. The waste is definitely drier than with our old machine so more juice is extracted.I juice s lot of leafy greens. The machine sounds as if it's dying and is particularly difficult to clean afterwards but the juice tastes lovely.The machine is quite heavy although some parts do not seem robust so I hope it lasts a long time.I bought direct from their website for 50% off. Delivery was within 24 hours. I didn't have a cleaning brush in my box which would help clean rhectricky parts. I'm sure they would have sent one if I took the time to call.

Item stopped working during the second time I used it. I checked the electrics, fuse and if I assembled correctly, and everything was fine but it still didn't work. Fortunately I spoke directly with the company that makes the juicer and they have been very helpful. I decided to purchase a different model directly from their company, as I was given a full refund. I believe that the one I purchased was faulty. The main thing is the problem was resolved and I am a happy customer.

Great juicer. Not noisy, juices well and really easy to clean. I love that it can do smoothies and frozen fruit ice cream and I can also make nut milk. Also eat to clean and pouring water into it whilst switched on washes it out and cleans in for a change in fruit. I do my nut milk, then pour water in to ri se and then do fruit juice without needing to disassemble it.

The media could not be loaded. well squeezes the juice of vegetables and fruits. it is not as easy to clean as I read in the reviews, because the residues fall into the difficult-to-see gaps in the strainer

I have had this juicer for nearly a year, bought it to replace a horizontal mastcator I had used for several years. I make a black kale/spinach/raw beetroot/carrot juice (really challenging for a juicer) almost every day and I still marvel at the efficiency ie how dry the pulp is and the volume of juice I get. Easy to clean and very neat on the worktop. Juicy Retreats Customer service is also excellent. Recommend it to anyone who wants serious juicing.

I've thrown out all juicers which came before this, for becoming unusable after throwing in pomegranate seeds. This juicer makes light work of everything I throw into it.It does seem like an expensive item, but from my experience, the company goes above and beyond to make sure that you will always have a perfect juicer, rather than an overly expensive paperweight, like all my past juicers.If you want a juicer which will work and work, this is the one for you

This is a very expensive juicer. It makes very quick works even when the juicer is full. The pulp comes out dry. It is the best juicer we have ever had. It gets used at least twice per day and more often at weekends, it has never let us down yet. We have put every type of veg and fruit we like and it has got plenty of juice for four of us. It is very easy to clean which you have to do by hand.
