Small, stubby, firm, compact, gives more accurate definition to the colour you apply to your face and neckline.... remember girls and boys if you have a chubby jawline a decent few strokes of bronzer under your entire jaw from ear to ear will slim your face and neck down to give you a more defined youthful face! 😁

Nice soft brush but has shed a few hairs

I bought this kabuki brush as it looked better quality than the other budget price brushes but was still a great price. I have found this to be true. It's an excellent value product. The bristles are very soft, its a good size and it picks up powder very well. I think softness is very important so as to not irritate the face or cause dry skin to peel. The only tiny negative is the hairs do shed a little but not excessively and I have found that some shedding is common in most brushes. So the bottom line is if you want a good quality kabuki brush for a very good price for applying mineral make-up buy this brush!

I bought this with the intention of using it to apply mineral foundation, as the very expensive, branded brushes I had were shedding so badly I was no longer able to use them. The LyDia brush itself is lovely - very soft and, after a week's use, hasn't lost a single hair. However, I've given it four stars because it turns out to be next to useless for applying mineral foundation. The mineral powder needs to be buffed rather than dusted onto the skin and because the brush is so soft, and its hairs comparatively long, it splays out the moment it touches your face. I've solved the problem by fixing a hair band around the bristles, which restricts their movement, leaving me with a firmer brush I can actually buff with. (In time the hair band is bound to ruin the brush, so I wouldn't recommend anyone does the same.) So, in summary, the brush itself is great quality and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from the range again - but, despite its description, it's more suited for applying mineral veil finishing powder than foundation.UPDATE: It's now four months on and I'm still using the brush everyday. Without doubt it's the best brush for applying mineral foundation that I've tried (and that includes the mega pricey BM ones), and so far I've had no problems at all with shedding, even with the hair band wrapped around the base of the bristles.
