The sad thing is that there is no option available to contact the seller and ask to send a new handle. The sliding brackets are too thin and wide leaving a large gap which is a big inconvenience to use any templates and triangles as they slide off. It's still usable, just need to be handled with much care. I have own a half dozen or so of similar boards. I can send it back and get a replacement or refund which are my only options but I need it now and I can fix the brackets and replace the handle. Other folks may not be so handy so this review is for you. Buy something else.

Perfect for small spaces and doing homework

I bought this in a rush because this brand was the only available one for when I needed it and didn't have any other option and didn't want to spend more money. Since the first time I used it I had a struggle to adjust the bar and thought maybe I was doing something wrong. Several of my classmates also bought portable drafting boards like this but different brands and never had any issue. I bought it months ago and have been surviving school with this crappy board because I don't have time or money to order another decent brand. One of my friends tried to help me adjust it because they thought I just didn't know how to adjust it and they were blown away that I had bought such low quality on Amazon for a high price.Please do not buy this, you will waste your money and time.
