Exact replacement-worked perfectly
Replaced in our living room light fitting following water damage. Easy to fit and light now works perfectly! Much cheaper than replacing the whole light which cost us £150.

Make sure to preserve the metal tags on the existing wires!
Exactly as in original fitting just a little difficult to attach the wires - make sure to not break off the metal ends to the wires when removing from the old ballast unit!! If necessary sacrifice the body of the old unit to preserve the metal tags! I had to solder on the tags in a couple of wires to get them to attach!

Great little ballast. Bought this to replace a much larger one that went bang in a 2d28w 4 pin ceiling light. Take note of the wiring diagram on the ballast, points 1 and 2 are one end of the lamp ( white for me) and 3 and 4 are for the other end of the lamp (red). It was a different wiring setup from my old ballast where 1 and 4 were one end 2 and 3 were the other. saved me from spending £££ on a new complete light fitting.
