So long as you take care of it, this printer will save you lots of money and give you less headaches
The apps for this printer feel like they are from another time, but otherwise it works exactly for my purposes! I print out college notes as well as stickers for my budding sticker business. And both come out vibrant and smooth. I haven't had any printing issues so far. The app took a bit of getting used to. I've printed off of laptops, my Ipad, and my pc, from right next to the printer, across the house from the printer, and so far they all work fine. The bottle ink that comes with it will last you an extremely long time if you don't print to often like I do currently. I haven't had to refill it yet. And, although I haven't tested it, there's many other brands of ink you can buy from if you want to save a buck, so I think this is probably the best printer to get if you don't want to deal with cartridges but also don't want to fork over your remaining limbs for a printer. I have yet to try printing on vinyl, but I have printed on regular copy paper and sticker paper, and they both work well. And here's a little trick if you are having connection issues. Buy a printer cable. This model has a port in the back labeled "USB". Literally look up on amazon, printer cable to usb, and that way you don't have to deal with the uncertainty if it'll go through or not. The tried and true physical cable method will always work.

Print regularly.
Great little printer. Only does one side printing, you'll have to flip pages manually. As with all liquid ink printers, be sure to print both color and black and white pages regularly, at least once a week, ideally more often, to avoid issues with the ink jamming up.You'll need a USB cable, not included, to get it configured. Setup is easy, and once you connect it to the network you can unplug the USB cable and remove the duplicate direct-connected printer from Windows Settings if setup doesn't clear it for you.If you only print something once every few months, sadly this is the wrong printer for you. All the liquid-ink printers seem to have issues with ink seizing up or drying up if they are left unused for long periods of time. I bought this to replace my 3700 which had that exact issue.

A hard no from me.
I wish I could give this printer zero stars. First, I received a used printer in the mail (packaging had been removed, ink had been installed in the tanks with empty bottles laying in the box). Normally, I wouldn't give a bad review for a product because of Amazon's failure to check an obviously returned product before sending it to someone else. However, now I see why it had been returned.I sent the first used printer back for a replacement and this time, I received a truly new printer. I am a relatively tech savvy person and followed the steps, using the app, exactly. During the "ink charging" step, which takes several minutes, I received a message in the app that the connection was interrupted. At that point, it stopped recognizing my printer whatsoever so I couldn't pick up where I left off. I went through about 647 troubleshooting steps and finally contacted Epson for support. After talking with their rep on the phone, she informed me that there was a "permanent mechanical failure" and the only thing I could do was send them pictures of the issue and wait for them to approve a warranty replacement. No, thanks. This thing is going back to Amazon. Hopefully no one else receives this defunct printer since Amazon obviously isn't checking returns closely enough.

BREEZED THROUGH THE SETUP, EASY PEASEY!
I notice the alarming reviews of people complaining about the setup of this printer. Honestly if you're pretty tech savvy all you have to do is fill the ink 1st before anything. Download the app (literally walks you through the whole process) link your wi-fi let it do it's thing (initialization process) for 11min. Then when its done I printed a test page because why not. Then linked it with my laptop and lastly registered the product breezed though it.It mentions the left over ink in the bottle can still be used so there's relatively no ink waste, I freaking love itHonestly zero issues with the setup.
