Tramontina 6pcs Butter Spreader Set (Black)

Why is it so hard to find a decent butter knife these days? Is it demand? Or is it that we have lost that nice way of living with our busy lives have forgotten or have no time for? I have started to buy part baked batons and rolls because the bread that is on the shelves or even store baked bread cannot in all honesty be called bread when you have tasted the loaves of the past. I also make a large batch of soup and the batons and rolls are a lovely addition to a bowl of hot steaming soup... So, instead of using any old knife to spread the butter, I thought it would be nice to have a set of proper knives at the table and started to look for a set... I found these knives and I have to say that they are just the job for spreading butter or anything else.. Yes,, they are surprisingly small but not that small that they cannot be used for the purpose. My Husband has large hands and he hasn't once complained that the knives are too small to handle. I am measuring one now and the blade is approx. two and a quarter inches/ 6cm long by three quarter inch/2cm wide and the handle is three and half inches/9 cm long by five eighths inch/15mm wide.. with overall length six inches/15cm. There are six knives in the pack and work out at approx. £1.38 each. Comparing the price of several individual spreaders that I have seen, I believe you are getting a bargain! If the jam in the jar is getting to the scraping stage and you complain that the 6 inch knife is to short may I suggest you use a spoon? : )

Bit smaller than I thought

I was looking for additional butter knives to supplement my existing - I selected these as they had good reviews and a reasonable price, I did not expect them to be so small they are too small for an adult to manipulate due to the thin handle, so beware if you are a normal size these will be too small!!!!

Excelente! Precisava dessas espátulas porque não dava mais pra usar faca! Bem melhor para tirar requeijão, manteiga ou outro alimento pastoso.
