Bodymax Infiniti R70i Rowing Machine - White

This is a really high quality rower and a step above most home fitness equipment. It does require some home assembly but it went together very easily, and everything fitted with no problems. Tools are provided. In use the rower is very solid and works smoothly with no annoying rattles or squeaks. Resistance is provided with a combination of magnet and a fan. The fan provides some cool air which is nice, but is a little noisy. The computer/display is nice. I have not used any of the program features yet; just press start, adjust the resistance, (currently have this set to 3, and it goes up to 8 I think), and go. The display shows time, distance, strokes per minute etc. Very pleased.

I took a long time deciding on a rower, I decided on this because of good reviews, and in large part it is good, it seems well made was fairly easy to put together, the movement is smooth, the seat large and comfy, the display is easy to read and fairly easy to operate and the manuals are all original and reasonably easy to read.My major disappointment is how high the resistance is, I can only compare level one resistance on the r70i to level ten on a concept 2,my wife is getting back into fitness and was hoping to use this but struggles to get a workout on this machine.There is 16 levels of resistance on this machine but on the highest i can barely move it and would like to think myself fairly fit and strong, I have contacted the company to see if I have a fault and have had no reply, after a bit of research I found a review on Tesco direct having the same problem as myself.If you are looking for a hard work out, then this machine is for you, but would not recommend it for beginners

Had a bit of trouble with the 2 man delivery company Amazon used. They don't let you pick a delivery time, only allow you to pick the day and then inform you of a 2 hour delivery slot the evening before it's delivered. First time they were 2 hours late of their delivery slot which I couldn't be in for. Had to wait over a week for the next available delivery slot (which is normal for them apparently). second time they were 2 hours early. Luckily I was in the second time! I'd advise ordering from someone other than Amazon or make sure you can be in for the whole of the delivery day.Packaging - It was incredibly well packaged. Filled up just under 3 bin bags full of polystyrene packaging. Would've preferred if they'd used cardboard or something recyclable but that's up to the manufacturer.It was very easy to build. Took me around half hour to assemble by myself and all the tools were included. It folds up very easily and is incredibly easy to move.A few other people have commented that the computer is nonsense and doesn't make any sense. I've found it really intuitive and easy to use.Apart from the delivery issues, its an excellent rowing machine and I'm very happy with it.

expected a lot from this machine having researched the infinity line but was total disapointment,the computer has no understandable instructions it only shows pics of the graph readouts and they make no sense,contacted supplier regarding this and after a week and a half the best they could do was email instructions for a different model and even stated in same email they would probably be no good then the supplier stopped replying to emails and obviously happy to wash hands of me as had my money so had no option but open a case with amazon and they were great about it,amazon issued full refund within 10days,the actual rower itself seems ok but computer useless unless you only use basic manual programme,also all instructions including assembly were simply photocopied pieces of paper stapled together and after part way through assembly instructions became unreadable where there were supposed to be letters there were simply keyboard symbols and numbers ie,^ *< in the middle of sentences stopping assembly as at vital parts,any questions regaurding this item please ask and il do my best to answer

Very happy with rower great resistance like in the gym and great build quality , went together very easy would recommend to anyone wanting a gym style rower. You need power to use it and don't keep it in the cold like a conservatory as it stopped working but when it was brought back inside the house it was fine.very happy,.,.,..,

Effective rowing machine, but beware if over 6'2'', leg length may make it difficult to maintain good form.

not the best buy I have made, easy to set up and install, the manual for the lcd screen is gibberish. I takes a while to set your programs. Rowing well and smooth for 3 months then OMG clonking and clanking form the resistance wheel. Loud enough to stop rowing. This sounded like I was cracking bones. I contacted the supplier and after 1 month of endless emails I received the parts required to fix the problem, now I have part usage lcd screen ( showing only some of the features ) and the clonking is feint but still there. I fear this is going to return, If this is a good rower then I'm the unlucky 1 whose bought a runt of a litter. What a damn shame as it was very good at the beginning. This will end up in the man shed I fear.

Good product, easy to assemble, but manuals are gibberish so very difficult to understand and follow as instructions are worded in broken English.
