Does the mountain work with battery powered engines from brio or hape?? Im judt wondering if they will be strong enough to climb the mountain? Thanks

I have a brio battery powered freight engine and it goes up on it's own and with a carriage attached. It is slow but is suitable for wooden train track as if they go too fast they tend to derail

Can you dismantle it easily and stow it away after use?

Not really, you can take the plastic train track of so it gets a bit smaller but it is a pretty sturdy thing otherwise. Ours just get moved to the side of the room.
