It's a bit more awkward to use than I hoped, but it does the job. I have to really think about how I'm putting the mop in the container. It does work, though.

Initially this mop assembled easily and worked well. After several uses we noticed a brown substance that was discoloring the sponge head. It looked like it was coming from where the sponge connects to the mop assembly. We assumed it was rust. We left it to dry suspended over our utility sink and the “rust” stained the sink which was hard to clean up. The sponge has since hardened to the point if left in hot water for 15 minutes was still too hard for the squeegee to work without breaking the plastic parts and had to be hand squeezed to soften the sponge. In retrospect I could not recommend this mop even though it had an attractive price.

The head is 15”, which I like because it’s big for these types of mops. Medium-sized areas get mopped quickly. Squeezing out the water takes very little effort due to the leverage from the squeezer lever. You will probably need a rectangular bucket with a length greater than 15” to clean the mop. A typical round bucket will be too narrow. Assembly is ok but not great with the instructions. Be aware than the plastic wrap around the sponge head does not come completely off; that’s okay but don’t try to yank every bit of it out. The instructions are a bit tiny and perfunctory. I had to look at their instructional video. It helped but who puts out instr videos in fast motion? All in all happy with this mop. The very long handle is another plus.

This mop really picks up liquids, is easy to rinse and leaves the drawer floor very dry. So there’s virtually very little time to wait before you can walk across the floor. It makes it a little bit more difficult to work with especially in smaller places.I did find a similar one that was 11 inches I believe and it worked much easier for me. But that’s not saying anything bad about them off in review.
