Bekama USDA Organic GMO-Free, Premium Ethiopian Specialty Coffee, 100% Arabica, Single-Origin Traceable, Hand Picked (Whole Bean, 8 Ounce)

Over the years I've tried more coffees than I could ever count and this Bekama Organic is one of the best. Indeed, it is excellent coffee. It is expensive as a bag is only 8 oz but how can one put a price on a good coffee? The beans smell good, once ground the coffee smells good and the brewed coffee is superb. I use this system Hario V60 Glass Coffee Dripper (Size 02, Red) for making my coffee and follow the directions exactly, I was switching from using a French press to this dripper so was worried about losing taste. Instead I now have a neat method of dripping an excellent coffee to enjoy! BTW the filters are natural unbleached paper. I'll add that the coffee is from the original home of coffee, Ethiopia. It is fair trade and organic. Great coffee!!

I've been making cold brew coffee going on 4 years now. I've used many different kinds of beans. Its been a while since I'd done a Yirgacheffe, so I bought some Bekama and Marquis. The Bekama had a weird smell to it, but other reviews mentioned that smell but the taste was great. So I went ahead and did my 20hr cold soak, and then filtered and stored in fridge. Tested some the next day, and it wasnt great. Atter two days in fridge, it developed some strange bacteria or yeast floaties, which I've never had happen before. So I can only assume I had some bad beans. Just started the Marquis tonight, hopefully it turns out better than the Bekama.

Great coffee, one of the best tasting I found here. Only problem is the price, a bit too expensive for everyday coffee. At this quantity it is possible to find others with similar quality.

I'm not sure if the beans are stale or I just don't care for the taste - but this leaves an unpleasant taste on my tongue. I tried it because I have some organic decaf Ethiopian coffee I like and I've had difficulty finding organic caffeinated Ethiopian coffee.

***UPDATE*** I’ve already ordered 14 bags of this! I order a new one as soon as I get through half a bag. The only complaint I could possibly have about this coffee is that I wish I could order larger bags...I love this coffee! I don’t have to use sugar anymore. It tastes so good and not bitter like most coffee. Now I take it with me when I travel. Recently I had a friend ask me over for coffee. I brought my own and now she’s an addict too! It’s that good!

Bekama Organic coffee is the best. I usually add coco powered and milk to my coffee but with this one I did not need to add anything!!! The flavor is rich, deep and complex as IF it is flavored coffee. Very smooth!!! Highly recommend this to anyone who loves coffee.

The bag that I received contained coffee that was super dry and tasted like old socks. The smell of the coffee was not very delightful either.
