By "6 count" does this mean 6 individual mints or 6 packages?

It means 6 packages. If you are a Prime member you can get your order in 2 days. This candy is so good and I have not been able to find it in any of the stores near me. Thank goodness for Amazon.

These are not sugar free, unless I overlooked something on the packaging. I buy the milk chocolate version. The creamy mint filling is very soft, like marshmallow creme, not firm, like the peppermint patty and I didn't find the mint flavor quite as strong as in the peppermint patty. The Russell Stover candy is not flat as in the patties and they are easily crushed. They are scrumptious, if you can handle the creamy filling, sugar-wise.

Has the packaging and product freshness improved? I don’t want a bag of mint patties shipped in a padded envelope.

I ordered a case so they came in a box. I did order Hersheys 1lb. chocolate bars that came broken in envelopes even after many complaints in reviews.

The mint patties are individually wrapped and there are 10 mint patties inside the bag. A few years ago, you could get these mints in a chocolate box like all of their products but I have not seen them since. They are delicious and have a smooth and gooey mint center much like Fazer mints. I buy them whenever I can find them.
