No the filter is not rated for gas. This listing title was revised in early 2022 to state "Diesel Engine" up until then it was unclear which fuel were safe to use. Gas will dissolve the clear nylon bowl.

Q: Is this Water Bowl resistant to high temperature? Will it deform after being subjected to high temperatures?

Yes remember to install closer to the tank lower than the intake height so gas lock up will no happens

Well, if you replace the whole filter housing the question is different. This unit is a copy of a Parker/Racor unit and uses a standard cartridge. Unfortunately this thing leaks.
