Works well as an interval timer for my pythons fogger system
I needed an interval timer to plug my reptifogger into so I could automate it for humidity control. This timer worked perfect and is easy to program or adjust anywhere from 1 minute on 1 minute off to anything up want almost. I set it forn30 minutes on and 6 hours off and its consistent to the minute

Extremely versatile settings, surpringly easy to use.
Better than advertised! And the instructions aren't half bad! And the designers made it fairly easy to use, given all the things it can do, and built in conveniences like remembering the last timing cycle you set and letting you do that again generally with one button press.A feature I wanted but didn't see described was to simply turn on a device for a short period; it seemed that an ON period was always paired with an OFF period. Leaving the OFF period undefined leaves it off after running the ON cycle. Simply pressing the CONFIRM button runs it again.I worried that programming an ON cycle would immediately run that cycle, but that doesn't happen until pressing that CONFIRM button. This does have a back-up battery (I wonder when/how to replace it?). It came set to the correct time for Eastern U.S.; changing to my time zone was very easy.

Works well
The instructions do not align completely with actual unit. Button labels are a little hard to read. I bought this for a count down timer to shut off a unit after 12 hours and it works well for this application. I have not used any other functions so I can not rate other functions.

Stopped working after power surge
This stopped working after a power surge. It shows the red light and my settings when plugged in as if it would work. Not pushing power through to connected appliance.

Don't waste your time trying to get this timer to work
I bought this timer to run a hydroponic tower. The features advertised seemed to be what I needed. Half hour on / half hour off and run 24 hour periods. The directions that come with this timer are awful. I can not get this to work in the way I need it. The directions do not explain how to put the timer in minute mode. There is no website for help. The timer does not count down to show you it has started working. Any time you make an adjustment, it wipes the whole program and you have to enter all the information again. There is no over ride switch to turn the timer on or off manually. It took me some time to get my hydroponic system up and running and I am past the return period by three days. Don't make my mistake and look for a different timer.

Work out well
I dont like to register and give out a bunch off personal info just to turn some lights off or on. These timers work out well during my vacations

Works flawlessly. Instructions were exceptional (hard to believe I know)
I've only used it as a cycle timer. But it has worked very well. Instructions are written in a flow chart kind of format for whatever function you wish to use. Which makes programming a breeze. I plugged it in for 3 or 4 hours prior to putting it to use, and the battery for memory is working and simplifies things. If it lasts, a fine purchase.

Untimely & User Unfriendly
Slightly over a year and a half ago, I bought this set of timers to perform one function: turn on my aquarium light at 9:00 am and turn it off at 7:00 pm every day. Not a particularly complicated scheme. These required pressing two buttons simultaneously in a series of measures for every function, even setting the time. It only has one outlet but countless steps for every function. The one I tried never worked properly - as in turning on and off at the times I set pursuant to the nonsensical instructions - and after attempting to set the timer several days in a row to no avail, I bought different timers.I can read and know how to follow instructions, so these should have worked. I bought a different set of timers but never got around to using them.Today -18 months later - I needed two timers to set up new full-spectrum lights over my bird cages, but could only find one of each set. This one was a malfunctioning lost cause. The reset button didn't even work. I tried the "switch" button alone and with other buttons and several different combinations of buttons, but only managed to catch glimpses of random times and 12:00. I couldn't even set the time, something that has never happened before and which should be the simplest task on anything with a timer function. Who needs instructions for setting the time on a watch, a microwave or a stovetop, for instance, never mind a "timer"? (I've set a reminder to smash it to smithereens tomorrow like I should have done 18 months ago to spare myself the frustration it caused today.)I was able to set up the other one in minutes, timer functions included, without the instructions, and it has a very convenient {always} On and Off switch on the side, a handy implement that would never cross the mind of this "timer designer" to place on these extremely user-Unfriendly timers .
