Organic excellent quality
I tried to rinse it and then soak it and rinse again. No nasties. There are some broken bits of buckwheat that may melt and cause water not to be transparent. After 2 days the buckwheat germinated. I will make bread out of it now.:) All seeds are alive, not past expectation date.

I used to have this product on subscription but then realised it contains gluten now and it didn't before and of course no notifications and amazon just kept sending it to my homes. otherwise it is a good buckwheat

Defective: Smells & Tastes Smoked
I thought something was wrong with my cooker when the buckwheat was cooked and had a strong smoked smell and flavor. I then tried to make another batch and smelled the buckwheat before I put it into the cooker and it had a strong and notable "smoked" flavor. This is not what I ordered and there was no way for me to get a refund or replacement.
