DRAWING FOR JEWELERS (Master Classes in Professional Design)

I was surprised by the quality of the book, really nice product, as the other people said I would not recommend to a beginner, because it is really technical and goes deeply in details. I bought it for a gift, i'm happy with it and I recommend.

This book is so easy to read and understand. It's many years since I studied Graphic Art, Design and Drafting - this was a perfect re-introduction to this arena and a great jumping-off point for my studies, and further investigation of this subject. For me, worth having.

This is a good book, but not for for those who have no drawing / fabrication experience. There is no information on fabrication (which is not the nature of the title of the book, but some small initial guidance might have been nice) Though there is some great detail and examples of taking images into serious orthogonal and isometric detail (twisting, shaping etc.), the book lacks some background detail for those who are starting out - and this may well not be the purpose of the book, but that seems to be the way it is presented. If you were picking this book as someone with no drawing or construction experience, it would not be my first choice. If you have had some drawing or construction experience, I would recommend it. There are some great base design techniques.

Great books easy to follow

Since my technical drawing skills for jewellery is a zero, this book is perfect for me. I would recommend anyone who is a beginner to start off with this book first.

page after page of explanations. They are all lost on me but the illustrations tell the whole story. Breath taking drawings .

Warum dieses Buch nicht als Lehrmaterial in deutschen Schulen- + Berufsschulen. Im Kunstunterricht könnte es schon einigen Schülern für die Berufswahl helfen.

Great quality book for people that want to learn to draw jewellery. Has a coffee table book quality to it. I am happy with it since there are technical books out there that go for way more. A very hard subject to find in books.
